@Bluez94 blue is my favorite color and i had a blue controller that matches the case so thats why i did it

Hey im working on my xbox as well and i just bought a clear disk drive like the one in your vid can you help me with how to install it, it doesnt seem to clamp to anything it just slides over where the disk is but its so low that it looks like the disk has no room and will just scratch up and i cant get that little metal piece from the original disk drive out that spins i would really appreciate the help Thanks

@GrenadeImpaired the little disc you can get out by looking at the top of the old drive and there should be a little circle you just need to pry open with a flathead or somthing cause its got some good adhesive holding it on. then you put that into the clear covers middle spot. it is tricky to figure out how it goes on. the best way i found out was line up the middle spot on drive cover and then the middle part that the hole in the disc sits on and then try and see if it clamps over the sides.

@fergdizzle9090 Yea i tried getting that little metal circle out but on the underside that black pieces seems to interlock into i actually tried a flat head to get it off but even if i do the Clear disks drive circle is BIGGER than than that orginal circle so even if i get it off i dont understand how its going to stay in and not just fall through its the same exact kind of clear disk drive like this guy in his vid and i see he has that metal piece i wish there was an ACTUAL vid onhow to do it

@GrenadeImpaired when u pry open the drive top and see the little piece in there it will be the little metal disc attached to a plastic disc you just take that out and put it in the clear cover.

@fergdizzle9090 Yea i kno what you mean but that piece is in there good and it looks smaller than the clear ones opening i dont understand how its soppose to sit in there without just falling throught the hole....im not sure how to quite explain it better...its just really annoying thought it woulda been easier lol i appreciate your help and patience
