@ryden5656 you have to realize that everyone that was working on it was getting stressed out because their deadline was so soon, the fox engine was being worked on too and when they tried to implement the game with the new engine it just didn't work for any of the systems from 360 to pc and Kohima

Big Boss told him at the end that it was Solidus who died on the fire and not him. Also, Big Boss did fight Snake in Zanzibar land but he somehow survived and they reconstructed Big Boss back together with pieces from Solidus and Liquid.

Solid Snake was ultimately a bit more bad-ass than Big Boss....not because he is the main protagonist of the series, but because, despite being an inferior clone of the greatest soldier who ever lived, he manages to best him twice, kill his brother (the superior clone), fight and kill liquid ocelot after crawling through a fucking microwave (did I mention he's like 70!), and ultimately wipe out the patriots, something that Big Boss could never do...all of this without shedding a tear...
This game, this entire series is nothing short of epic, from beginning to end. Thumbs to let Big Boss and Snake rest in peace, they've had long lives, and they both deserve it...
Now, don't read this if you havent completed MGS4 but I just wanted to get it straight that even though Solid Snake THOUGHT he killed Big Boss, he in fact survived and at the end of MGS4 he met up with Solid Snake and, before dieing of a virus, made peace with Solid and told him to live out the rest of his life in peace. Solid agreed, and they finally had one last smoke before Big Boss died of the FOXDIE virus by The Boss' grave.
@leontas2007 No, In MGS1 we have Solid Snake, one of the clones of Big Boss. MGS3 is a prequel to the series, so it takes place before MGS1. MGS3 is where you play as 'Naked Snake', who later becomes Big Boss. I won't get into when they cloned Big Boss and everything; MGS isn't a series that you can simply sum up with words. If you really want to know, I suggest you play the games. MGS is one of my favorite game series' of all time anyway, so why not experience the epicness for yourself :D

I'm one of the biggest mgs-fans, played the first three parts for at least 15 times. but I dont have a ps3 and noone of my friends, too, I dont have the money because I need it for enough other things... but there is nothing i want more than playing the 4th part only ONE time, it's such a pity... I have watched almost ALL walkthrough-videos and listened to all soundtracks, it is sooo sad....
This video had a high quality flow to it. Every clip seemed to be in tune with the music and coversation taking place. This will be added to my favorite list.

Metal Gear: The Twin Snakes was an exclusive remake for the Game Cube and MGS2 was released on the Xbox and PC too and MGS1 was released on the PC too. But i do agree the graphics will be a lot better if it's an exclusive because the reason why most games graphic sucks so much is because they want to make it even so that there will be no comparisons and shit like that about which console or version is better.

Nah man, you should be worried about Rising, because Walker is directed by Kojima and all 100% of his attention will be on that game, hence he calls it MGS5, now as far as rising goes, if it takes places after mgs4, that might damper the story. mgs4 ended perfectly and the only mgs games i would accept in to be with the main story lines are ones that are prequals, etc. I know peace walker is going to be bad ass, but i fear for risings story line. Either way i cant wait.

So true. But dont forget. It was not just solid snake. Solid Snake, Big Boss, and Ocelot was a major factor in all games. So since BB and Ocelot and every other snake and alike are dead and solid is relaxing in rio De jenero with $2 dollar hookers { im sure snake has DEEP POCKETS, lol}, so raiden is ahh/ . There are 2 { well 2 logical, or most likely possibles for MGS Rising}, (1) Its in betwneen mgs2 and 4, and (2) its like acid , seperate from main story. since walker is official MGS5.
By the way, there are questions that even in the MGS database, that i dont think were ever answered. Like, { did ocelot know that The Boss was his mother and vice versa}, and in MGS2, at the tanker chapter in begining, ocelot says something like, the pilot of the helicopter is the only one that went through VR training, i wonder who he was reffering to, etc. This stuff may not be so important, but still. I thought that the speech Big Boss game to solid at the end was the shit.
Most likely yes, but the new version of armor Raiden has on with the face robotics and jaw, maybe it takes places in like 2 parts. 1st part as you said and 2nd after mgs4. Then again, it might be a non canon game like the one for gameboy. Either way, im waiting for peace walker the most. lol
Actually I'm skeptical of Rising. However I think Peace Walker will be amazing. :) I'm mostly worried about this whole "Thunder Bolt Action" jumbo. However I think Peace Walker will finally fill in that hole that has been missing in the Metal Gear saga for Big Boss.
Yeah, me too. But still there's always that chance of screwing up a series/saga when there are too many parts. In the case of MGS though, they're kind of necessary to fill in missing loopholes. I'd still love the series and all but I wouldn't want them to do something that completely ruins the games, like I've seen with other series'. Just saying is all. But again I trust Kojima that he'll not do something like that. He knows his stuff

Hehe, well you can't drive these old warhorses forever. But Raiden wasn't that great of a character for main hero. Especialy when they didn't give him any cool things in MGS2 atleast.

Because Kojima is a badass. He did an excellent job on portable ops. I know&I KNOW he will do a fantastic job on Peace Walker. Lets not doubt his work because Kojima is the smartest game designer/director out there. I believe in him&his work. You all shall do the same. Believe in the MGS series& Mr. Hideo Kojima. But i know what you mean but Kojima has his intelligent ways. There will be alot of secrets in Peace Walker to be told. &We will probably get to know Big Boss more, y'know?

erm, about that ''always on Sony'' part, you mean MGS is always on Sony? Metal Gear: The Twin Snakes was an exclusive remake for the Game Cube and MGS2 was released on the Xbox and PC too and MGS1 was released on the PC too. But i do agree the graphics will be a lot better if it's an exclusive because the reason why most games graphic sucks so much is because they want to make it even so that there will be no comparisons and shit like that about which console or version is better.

Nah man, you should be worried about Rising, because Walker is directed by Kojima and all 100% of his attention will be on that game, hence he calls it MGS5, now as far as rising goes, if it takes places after mgs4, that might damper the story. mgs4 ended perfectly and the only mgs games i would accept in to be with the main story lines are ones that are prequals, etc. I know peace walker is going to be bad ass, but i fear for risings story line. Either way i cant wait.

So true. But dont forget. It was not just solid snake. Solid Snake, Big Boss, and Ocelot was a major factor in all games. So since BB and Ocelot and every other snake and alike are dead and solid is relaxing in rio De jenero with $2 dollar hookers { im sure snake has DEEP POCKETS, lol}, so raiden is ahh/ . There are 2 { well 2 logical, or most likely possibles for MGS Rising}, (1) Its in betwneen mgs2 and 4, and (2) its like acid , seperate from main story. since walker is official MGS5.

By the way, there are questions that even in the MGS database, that i dont think were ever answered. Like, { did ocelot know that The Boss was his mother and vice versa}, and in MGS2, at the tanker chapter in begining, ocelot says something like, the pilot of the helicopter is the only one that went through VR training, i wonder who he was reffering to, etc. This stuff may not be so important, but still. I thought that the speech Big Boss game to solid at the end was the shit.

Most likely yes, but the new version of armor Raiden has on with the face robotics and jaw, maybe it takes places in like 2 parts. 1st part as you said and 2nd after mgs4. Then again, it might be a non canon game like the one for gameboy. Either way, im waiting for peace walker the most. lol

Actually I'm skeptical of Rising. However I think Peace Walker will be amazing. :) I'm mostly worried about this whole "Thunder Bolt Action" jumbo. However I think Peace Walker will finally fill in that hole that has been missing in the Metal Gear saga for Big Boss.

Yeah, me too. But still there's always that chance of screwing up a series/saga when there are too many parts. In the case of MGS though, they're kind of necessary to fill in missing loopholes. I'd still love the series and all but I wouldn't want them to do something that completely ruins the games, like I've seen with other series'. Just saying is all. But again I trust Kojima that he'll not do something like that. He knows his stuff

What is this Hole about big boss and alike that you say peace walker might fill. Im just curious as to what the mystery is. man this always gets me because of the relationship between my dad and me. he would beat my mother and my brothers and me and make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark.he was never there for you and always was drunk. also i remember when i was 6 i saw my mum knock my dad unconscious with a frying pan but i continued straight on with my birthday. i have no chance of being normal. i got a real fucked up family.
