Looks pretty awesome, I like Raiden from the first time I seen him on a MGS game. This isn't a MGS game to me but I'll still most likely get it because of Raiden.

Awesome! I like what I saw in this trailer. But I think it's too early to pass my judgement on it. I like what Platinum games and KP has done in the past so I am very excited about this.
I for one get what they're doing with this spin off and think its pretty cool, I'd take mgs5 over this sure, but at least Kojima isn't using up his time developing it, and we can be pretty sure at least raiden won't be the main character in a mgs game again so I say cool bring it. I expected hack and slash to an extent, but this was quite disappointing - the first trailer just seemed like so much more than this one turned out to be :( i don't hate the genre, the new devil may cry actually looks pretty cool - but i've now lost a fair amount of interest in this game. But Raiden still looks awesome
@MissSunnyBear forgot to mention that I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan. This game being more action oriented shouldn't be a surprise. Metal Gear hasn't always been this super serious realistic game.

@cityslicka24 The graphics are bad because the game will be multiplatform, but yeah, the whole "Cut&Take" idea from the first trailer made it different, interesting, you could just slash your enemy's weapon and get a sneaky, No-Kill run ala Classic MGS, or just run around slashing everything in your path, now it's just Devil May Cry: Revengeance.

It still looks like the first trailer with the slashing of multiple pieces, but because of Platinum Games history of being over the top, there might not be any stealth at all.Remember this is a new take on the series like Solid Snake is stealthy gameplay, and Raiden is in your face hack and slash epic sauce lol :D

I never said it was better I just prefer this kind of style of gameplay, if I full on played the metal gear solid games maybe I would think otherwise, my friends are huge fans of them used to play it with them a bit but not enough to get a huge feel of it thinking of getting the HD collection (probably going to snap saying you never fully played MGS!) But this is a different game and style not for everyone

@russaldinho1 guessing you didn't see the trailer last year, for MGS Rising? Looked so much better than this crap. Its just spam X to win, with the slow-mo slicing as some crappy special. I don't know who to blaim, Platinum for forcing themselves on the game, or Kojima, for hiring them to make it.

I expected hack and slash to an extent, but this was quite disappointing - the first trailer just seemed like so much more than this one turned out to be :( i don't hate the genre, the new devil may cry actually looks pretty cool - but i've now lost a fair amount of interest in this game. But Raiden still looks awesome

@cityslicka24 The graphics are bad because the game will be multiplatform, but yeah, the whole "Cut&Take" idea from the first trailer made it different, interesting, you could just slash your enemy's weapon and get a sneaky, No-Kill run ala Classic MGS, or just run around slashing everything in your path, now it's just Devil May Cry: Revengeance.

It still looks like the first trailer with the slashing of multiple pieces, but because of Platinum Games history of being over the top, there might not be any stealth at all.Remember this is a new take on the series like Solid Snake is stealthy gameplay, and Raiden is in your face hack and slash epic sauce lol :D

@cityslicka24 F.Y.I. the build you saw running back in the day wasn't the actual game engine. It was demo only for what they had in mind to show at E3...
this is the actual game and it looks stunning!

I'll admit, it will probably be a fun game.. but this isn't metal gear. The story looks very very cheesy and the gameplay looks very over the top. It looks NOTHING like the E3 trailer they showed a couple of years ago. I think the new developer completely changed the game
