There are a lot of better devices around, check the monome, for example. or even the launchpad that you own! why do you want a beatbearing if launchpad can do that same thing and eve better? and... do you have to use an LCD screen just for that?

HOLY CRAP STAY OUT OF THAT TOP ROW THAT IS ANNOYING!!!!!! the cymbals need a lil tuning so dont use them!!!! lol tuning....

Seems a whole lot more reliable than my version. The tri-pin contacts have got to be a good way to go.
