  • I love 747-400

  • "Ladies and Gentleman, please return your flight attendent to her original, upright, position" lol

  • A simple question, do you prefer the 74A or the 77A?

  • @jaller828 74A. I like jumbos

  • i dont understand why they did it as an animation its kind of hard to tell

  • Cathay pacific was started in ww2 and most of the piliots are retired from the air force worked for them. Then when we won, japenese and chinese piliots started working for this commute airline in the 1940's that started out with propeller planes and moved up all the way to a boeing 777. My grandfather(deseaced) was one of the main people who started cathay pacific.

  • Im a captain for delta and i know why they have shoulder straps for buissness class and first class. It costs less and the first and buissness people payed more. Us piliots need a cross shoulder and lap strap because we fly the airplane. Thats why! If you have any more questions just ask me!

  • A shoulder belt in business class. I never saw that before. They should install one in Economy too if it is that important.

  • I have the safety video of 330,77A,34D,773.Check out my video reponse above and my other video :)

  • The new codes are as followed:

74A - Boeing 747-400 (All with New Inflight Products)

77A - Boeing 777-300ER (All with New Inflight Products)

777 - Boeing 777-200 (Regional J, old Economy; will be retired by 2010)

    773 - Boeing 777-300 (Regional J, old Economy)

    330 - Airbus A330-300 (Regional J, old Economy)

    33B - Airbus A330-300 (New Inflight Products)

    34B - Airbus A340-300 (New)

34C - Airbus A340-300 (First, Busines, Economy old products)

34D - Airbus A340-300 (Business, Economy old products)

  • No more 34C's!!! all r gonna be stored and then retired

  • What does the A stands for? I don't get it.

  • is that GMA Capt. Richard Hall at the beginning?

  • i'll seeing this video again in a couple of weeks time :D

  • reminds me of my trip to the philippines last year :(

  • wow, its animated! better than air canada

  • Comment removed

  • the 346 has all been sold. so its all irrelevent now

  • i dont see where can u find out the CX routings and configs in the website

  • of 747

  • by the way now cx has only 5 old product aircraft....

  • one possible reasons is they performed "Last Minute Equipment Change" which is popular in CX.

  • but how come when i came back from osaka-HK and the thing says 744, how come it was the new long haul product?

  • Well 744 Flights (selected on some shorthaul i think so but the product was actually for Long Haul) have the new products.

  • how do u noe the new inflight product aircraft numbers?

  • i can remember them all...

    u can also

just check out all the CX routings and aircraft configs.

  • Must be the only airline to say 15 min's after takeoff you can use your stuff!

    A plane climb lasts up to 30 min's for a Boeing 747-400!

  • they are kinda funny

  • why do you like Cathay Pacific so much?

  • becuase its one of the best air liners in the world!

  • @fantasticministry2 witch mean it climb a little steep

  • where were you flying when you taped this video??

  • I was flying FCO-HKG

    B747-400 CX292

  • HK is a place where Cantonese and English are being used, but not Mandarin.

But if you would care to have Mandarin, take Dragonair! Their Safety Demonstration will be conducted in 3 language, Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

  • Actually, all long-haul aircraft will be introduced with that.

  • Yes, but this Safety Demonstration is only applied on B747-400s (74A) only.

  • actually, i saw the same exact vid on a 777-300ER.

  • All B777-300s, B777-200s and all 2-class-configured A330-300 (330) will not be changed.

Regional Business Class will remain and old Economy Class will still be there.

Only B747-400, A330-300 (333), A340-300, B777-300ER will be equipped with the new seats.

For A330-300 (333), All aircrafts will be changed into 2 class configuration (33B)

  • FYI 74A - B747-400 (New IFT Products) 744 - B747-400 (Old product) 74J - B747-400 (More J class seats, old product) 777 - B777-200 (Old products) 773 - B777-300 (Old Products) 77A - B777-300ER (All new long haul products) 330 - A330-300 (Old products, 2 class) 333 - A330-300 (Old products, 3 class) 33B - A330-300 (New products, 2 class) 34B - A340-300 (New products, 2 class) 34C - A340-300 (Old products, 3 class) 34D - A340-300 (Old products, 2 class) 346 - A340-600 (To be returned)
  • Wait, I thought all CX's A346 are being sold.

  • it clearly says A340-300

  • Most A340's in CX are being sold because the management office finds them too energy innefficient and too slow. They are also replacing them with 777 which are more energy efficient and have the new economy class

  • What happened to the 346? As you said To Be Returned?

  • I liked the new seat layout but they already showed it on the 747s that was shorthaul (MNL-HKG) it was AWESOME also the seat and safety video!

  • Good for you.

    Have fun!

  • Cute video :-)

I like how they show the different products onboard the 74A
