You are getting the hang of WW2. Germany and Italy surrendered during the battle of the Bulge, which was declared V.E. day (Victory on Europe day). There was a major Airborne invasion during D-day too. Besides that, Germany was not the real enemy. It was the Nazis (I hate that word so much,) who were the real enemies. Germany's biggest enemy was the Nazi or Aryan race. Because hitler thought Nazis were better than the regular German race

@thepeaceguitar Italy was invaded and was forced to surrender before germany did. They killed mussolini, The airborne invation was with paratroopers.  There were extremly failed persition bomings, and Hitler thought he was doing the right thing for the people of Germany, so for some modern neo nazis (my sister loves hitler ) He was doing the right thing. And hitler thought all of germany was the aryan race (not jews, gypsies, and all that other crap. Im a athiest. ) Mostly white ppl.

Their were, they used tanks to pull a gap in the German Defense inland, joining with the Airborne divisions....

omaha beach was rocky, and had a large cliffside 200 yards inland. And where are the shoreguns and destroyer shells?
