  • @Manakaiser @WorldofLinkfell do any of you actually climb anything but your armchairs?

  • I can do what you can't.

Sit here for 15 hours watching Youtube.

    I bet, you can't.

  • @snorri520

adding letters to a rating below 10 is like trying to say you climbed a 5.9 when you only climbed a 5.8...

  • Thank you for the description Captain Obvious.

  • Shes top roping aswell lol!

  • Nalgene bottle

  • For those that don't know - girls often make better climbers than men because of their natural elegance. This proved true time and time again at the climbing gym's summer camps that i'd instruct at.

  • @foxtrot789

When you look up who are considered the best climbers in the world it doesn't really support your claim. Maybe "sometimes" would be a better word choice than "often", because it sure looks like it just depends on the individual more than anything else, and that men make those lists just as much as women, if not more actually.

  • I'd say leave your nalgene on the ground when walking up a 10 meter slab :D

  • The only way to climb is to climb like a girl... That is coming from someone who can do five one arm pullups consecutively

  • wow, its captured every single visit i have ever made to a rock gym. lol.

  • I was half expecting the camera to rotate and show that he is infact just crawling on the floor

  • Same wall, different routes may have totally different rating. Second, leading is much harder than TP, mostly mentally.

  • some realy good climbing halls hear in and arround Munich but Ratho Edinburgh Scotland is the best

  • This is why I boulder- little kids cant do reach'y stuff!

But it's not all about technique, core, back and finger strength plays a huge part- and on some routes so does leg power!

  • I hate it when climbers that are better then me says "its all about technique" when it's obvious that their grip strength and endurance is much better then mine... There is a pretty clear line in difficulty that can not be crossed if your not strong enough.

  • @requshei The point of "its all about technique" comment, is that beginners should focus on techinque, as it is a lot easier to improve than getting strong quickly. Nobody seriously means that strength has nothing to do with it.

  • can a fat guy do just as well in rock climbing, then?

  • tumbs up if u thot it was real rock :P

  • lol so true, got outclimbed on a 5.11b the other day by a 10 year old girl, slightly embarrassing

  • Why is there a nipple piercing reaction in the sugested videos?

  • LECK MICH MIT DER WERBUNG

  • since it's a commercial it's likely the counter weight on her rope is equal to her weight ... she could "climb" with 1 finger

  • @wiseorwiseazz umm, no, she probably just knows how to rock climb. Check out 8a.nu, you would notice that there are 11 year old kids doing 8bs and 8cs

  • The heavier you weigh the stronger you have to be.....technique is always important but you can't make your hands more muscular. Either lose weight or get stronger....for me is get stronger I just don't have the figure of a toothpick....

  • @MrLogical34 Captains of Crush and Rubber bands will go a long way in strengthening your hands and forearms. Just look at any pro arm wrestlers hands and tell me they're not muscular.

  • That little girls ascent is in true Yosemite style

  • Technique is no substitute for pure power.

  • @qwertical and pure power is no substitute for stamina...... beach muscles do little more then drain your energy just keeping them fed.

  • ahh sweet, I am 300lbs, and don't have very much muscle. I guess i'll try to climb el cap tomorrow! (with good form)

  • If you didn't lead it you didn't send it...get that girl on the sharp end :p

  • that little girl's a dick...

  • I don't get It.....

  • no idea that was a chineese commercial ... it kinda freaked me out

  • @EverthingCallOfDuty well not actualy chinese... it was german

  • @EverthingCallOfDuty wow...Chinese? really...... are you fucking retarded?

  • @krypekeeper Well it wasn't English

  • 40ºC + Slopers... It´s not climbing technique it´s surfing

  • shes beautiful id love to see her as an adult modeling

  • @willC801 wtf is wrong with you?

  • @MrRoughsex that is funny considering your username...

  • @MrRoughsex Assuming that wasn't sexual there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I see kids often who make me think, "oh they will be beautiful when they grow up."

  • @MrRoughsex What'd he say? Something irritatingly feminist? xD

  • @willC801 da fuck?

  • @willC801 Damn straight.

  • @willC801 PEDO!

  • Well... its a german commercial for climbing areas :P

  • -_-...shes lighter

  • "You climb like a girl"! Bozo Boulder

"Thx for the compliment". Titan of trad.

  • lol.. i'd say in this case it's strength to weight ratio...

  • @ceilingcatdisciple

nope not rly.. the other day I was bouldering at my local center and I spottet a 60 year old lady who did V8 in front of my eyes and I couldn't even make two moves on that route..

  • @ceilingcatdisciple Nah, much more technique and support muscles.

  • @ceilingcatdisciple thats so stupid I have to say....

  • @ceilingcatdisciple actually thats wrong its mostly technique and body tension not strenght.

to explain: 2 climbers-> same weight same size one is slightly stronger and one has slightly more tension, the tension one will do better.

  • @Manakaiser ...What do you think tension means?

  • @WorldofLinkfell i dont think what it means i know it and considering your comment you probably dont. strenght doesnt necessarily mean tension at all, easiest example olympic weight lifters, extremely strong, and very few tension. tension means the muscles are trained to work as a whole and not focusing on specific regions...I wont go into this further because tension just doesnt stand in any direct relation to strenght...theres very thin ppl with proprtionally enormous tension

  • @Manakaiser oh and @WoldofLinkfell I forgot to mention in case you dont know, tension in climbing also falls montly into the category of muscle endurance not strenght.

  • @Manakaiser Well "Tension-The state of being stretched tight: "the parachute keeps the cable under tension as it drops"." that’s what tension is. Plus Bouldering is much more strength than "tension". The tightness of your muscle is how strong you are. You are using the word tension out of context when the word compactness is much more suitable. Of course, that is much different than the amount of muscle that you have...Learn how to spell you spastic fourth grader.

  • @WorldofLinkfell you like to act or youre rly a complete mental retard? you cite a definion and you are too dumb to apply it to the topic? you just supported what i said because as you said tension is the ability to stay stretched tight, in case of a human, body-tension (please search the definition of body-tension) means the ability to keep the body in full tension while performing a specific task. which in case of climbing is the most basic thing required at all times...kiddo

  • @Manakaiser and body tension needs to be trained seperately from raw strenght on only stands in secondary relation to raw strenght, so please stop making yourself look like a jackass linkfell.

  • @Manakaiser "strenght"...Look your commment before you type fucktard.

  • @WorldofLinkfell owned yourself by that you geeky nerd, only no lifes refer to obvious typos when they dont know what to say anymore because they realise all they said so far was complete bullshit and they dont have the balls to just admit they were wrong

    pathetic darling ;)

  • @Manakaiser "body tension" = strength.. and of course you need technique.

  • @Manakaiser I never heard of this in all my life; tension, what is it? And what is it in comparison to strength? Can you measure it? Can you develop it?

  • @Devilen73 i guess easiest is for you to google it, and yes it can be developped. check out barstarzz, their exercises are a great example of body tension. of they are strong but less strong than olympic weight lifters and yet their tension is way higher. hope it helped.

  • @Manakaiser of course they are strong*

  • @Manakaiser Thanks mate. Yeah, I'll google it. Cheers.

  • Boring!!!!!
