Nice way to save money.

My friend bought a small class B camper van - tried to live in it, and was doing pretty well.

Less than 48 hours later the cops knocked on his van in the middle of the night, telling him it is illegal to sleep in your vehicle in Florida, and the only option he has is to go and rent a place in a camp ground.

Very sad you can't save few bucks on living these days.

On my year long trip in my van I hope to not stay longer than 2 days in one place unless Im working or couchsurfing in a location. I dont see it being a problem then.

The cops told you had to quit living in your van?

@Christopher711 Yes. However, I dont think there was much they could have done if I wanted to get in a legal battle. Once I do my year long road trip I will be moving around so much I wont really have to worry about things like this.

I think one of those box vans might work well i think it would work better for blocking out light and noise. I think it might be a little cooler in the heat.
