people must remember that sony dslr's are konica minolta maxxum slr before sony.

@6527mjap The latest Sony DSLRs no longer have a connection to Minolta. Even the lenses are newer design compared to a few years ago when they were being relabeled. Acquiring Minolta just allowed Sony to enter the DSLR market faster than they would have if they began with nothing. Minolta is now only a footnote in the history of photography.
