Okay, in Hellsing, Alucard is Dracula. In Castlevania, Alucard is Dracula's son. In the old black and white movie "Son of Dracula" Alucard is Dracula pretending to be his own son.
well really Dracula is the start of them all cuze he has the ssame coat and they both have a legendary father Dante's father is Sparta and Alucard's is Dracula
um i thought that dracula wore a black cloak and a black wedding outfit.....And Alucard isn't Draculas son......I thought he was Dracula but was broght to the Hellsing place after being "killed" by Van Hellsing. And after that they made him far stronger then ever before. However they only used him once and that was during the "Undead War" or somthing. then they locked him up in the dungeon. 20 years later Integra(i think she's Van Hellsig's grandchild or somthing) Opened Alucards cell.
ya he is dracula in the series he was defeated by van hellsing thats why he acepts integra as his master she is one of his decendants they give hints in the first series only twoard the end like how he kills off the last person by impailing him like in the past when i think the otoman empire was entering europe how dracula used terror tactics to force them back by taking the dead bodies and impailing them and leaveing them out to rot in the ova series they make more sugestions of the same thing
Wow did i really comment this 10 months ago?? dang.... Amazing how time flies.....Oh well back to Alucard. Yes from what i understand of the show it is as we have said. Dracula's son dosn't seem to have anything to do with it at all. Though HIS name is also supposed to be Alucard... Amazing how vague they make the main character's history isn't it?? No real clues or anything, just a few mysterius words and some nicely placed hints. they really let you make up ehat happened.
It intrigues me that Alucard can apparently turn into a dog that looks like a saluki (with 8 eyes)...in which episode(s) did he do that? (I'm not yet very familiar with this anime..)
