Dear Caramelistic - no worries! Hairiette and Sofie were playing, no real "fight" EVER between them. They are not "siblings," but friends born about two weeks apart. Both of our families have moved from our previous homes in NYC; Hairiette and I recently visited Sofie, and although they hadn't seen one another in 9 months, they recognized one another immediately and ran outside to play in about 18 inches of snow!
My sister is a vet and she does not buy those pig ears because she said they are the cause of some of the worst housemate dog fights she has seen. She also has a TT :)
@chrish12345 not really. I think I got lucky with mine (stray from shelter). He does, however, get along better with dogs of the opposite sex. He get jealous with same sex dogs and tends to bark, "yodel" and holler if he is not the center of attention. I fostered a male pomeranian that he tolerated, even though the pom adored him. He now has a sheltie little sister that he bonded with instantly. Almost as if they were litter mates.
@caramelistic that's interesting, thanks - from what I've seen of Tibetans, play-fights seem quite common and maybe a pair of them rounding on another dog for fun, but without any actual aggressiveness. I don't have one, its just what I've observed on vids here and out walking. I just love the fact that they seem to have evolved differently from other breeds and their clean shiny coasts alone are always easy to spot.
Are you playing Oblivion in the background?
