The original design from the manhattan project design team called for a gun like device that would shoot the 2 pieces together. As this is much more practical I believe that you v=could siply make a nuclear weapon out of urainium-235 in the shape of a bullet and a plug, shot together they may be able to make a nuclear detonation posibble if at the correct speeds.

Yes you can, you just need to spend years/decades and billions enriching the uranium first. Of course designing the apparatus is critical but nothing compared to the investment and time required to enrich uranium to be able to have a reasonable amount of concentration 30% + and even if you reach that low level, it requires a substantial amount of critical mass (fissile material), most modern Uk/US/Russian bombs aim for 85% optimal concentration

it isn`t accurate at all, I`m doing my final year in particle physics there are like 1000-5000 elements in a nuke.
Casing of some sort - duhhhh its a Beryllium sphere and is used to steer the particles up to the point of CM. And a load of other errors, so yes you are right that is not it :)

That would only create a "dirty" bomb. There is a lot more to it than just that. If a nuke is blown up by an outside explosion (grenade for example) it would not be a true "nuclear bomb" explosion. There is a reason it took hundreds of the top scientists years to figure out how to make it work and no it's not that they couldn't find uranium.

The original design from the manhattan project design team called for a gun like device that would shoot the 2 pieces together. As this is much more practical I believe that you v=could siply make a nuclear weapon out of urainium-235 in the shape of a bullet and a plug, shot together they may be able to make a nuclear detonation posibble if at the correct speeds.

First of all, certain portions of uranium and plutonium are still hard to find and purchase(cuz im sure its not cheap) but, You also have to purifie this stuff to make it work, witch is also as hard, making a nuclear bomb is much much harder then this(Nuclear missle is impossible to do with 1 person, need teams of people) regular bomb i guess, ok for 1 team of people(mayb) but try moving it around with a truck.U also need to be handy with electronics to make c4 go off, where u guna get c4?theend

stop talking, unranium can be found at unitednucler . com, purify it, and you dont need to specifically use "c4". really, the only hard step would be the purifying part of it.

Yes you can, you just need to spend years/decades and billions enriching the uranium first. Of course designing the apparatus is critical but nothing compared to the investment and time required to enrich uranium to be able to have a reasonable amount of concentration 30% + and even if you reach that low level, it requires a substantial amount of critical mass (fissile material), most modern Uk/US/Russian bombs aim for 85% optimal concentration
