  • fuel for cars is just a part of the need for oil... our whole way of life is based on petroleum and it's byproducts. plastic, cosmetics, pharmaceutics and the list goes on. the basic problem is we would need to rethink our entire way of living our everyday lives. well you could make a plastic substitute from corn starch. where you'll get the all the corn from then. i don't have an answer but i'm also not too positive about the future ;)

  • z is usually that 3rd dimension. but it is arbitrary. we could call them abc.

  • emissions arent the problem........ if youre talking abt greenhouse gasses any way. c02 is actualy to dense to be an efficient greenhouse gas.... also i agree about hydrogen being the fuel of the future but i think it needs to happen privatly. NASA, the DPA and many other government agencies are living proof that if you dont want something to get done, get the government involved. but i totaly agree about hydrogen. fusion tech looks very cool and good. just need to master it first lol

  • Boring. Very boring. I'm kind of done with your chan, it is the same thing always.

    You're acting weird and rambling.

  • the reason we still use oil/gas is greed and shortsightedness of oil companies, they see the short term profit, and dont care about the effects that their profits provide them. its a catch 22 situation, that even the voting public doesnt quite grasp. or its because of garlic salt, thats generally the root of all evil in this world :P

  • HHN 21 is going to be awesome! I have been going ever sense 2006! The Director is the best/my favorite HHN Icon! I'll be filming the fifth fan film on The Director this weekend entitled ACT I - An Artistic Mind: The Rusty Blade (scene 5)!

  • Your right though, fuel cell technology has been around since the beginning of the Apollo program. I too would like to know why it has taken 40 years to bring it to the commercial market. The technology wasn't restricted, NASA and their contractors shared nearly everything about the development of the program. Velcro, freeze dried food, pressurized pens, polarized glass, fuel cells, miniaturized communications are just some of the stuff the Apollo program gave us. Off the top of my head. TY

  • Paul Ruben, when Pee Wee Herman doesn't break character. Oil sand is not one oil to hundreds of sand. It is "Sour" crude. More impurities in the crude. Unlike "Sweet" crude from the middle east. The good news is refineries must be retooled to handle oil sand. that means they will have to meet new higher emission standards that were not in place when the refinery was built. Oil companies can "repair and remodel" without meeting the new standards. The retool will be more extensive.

  • oh and by the way x and y are length and width, and z represents depth on a coordinate plane

  • woot i can finally comment!! tim for 2012 president :p. haha

  • I agree! Oil companies and car manufacturers are just money hungry and aren't willing to use more "green" technology. Yay for days off after not having a day off for a month. Enjoy your time off! I can't believe how close Halloween is, it seems like you just went to Halloween horror nights lol
