Wow, talking about getting a nostalgia feeling. I feel like I'm 9 years old again. Back when the anime bomb was kicking, pokemon & DBZ were HUGE, Toonami was still alive, and your only problem back then was not having enough fun.

Kind of late on the comment but if you have the book that came with the game if you flip through it and see Wendy it seems like she is hurt and Slash is helping her and Linda is jelous back in the day I was like damn Wendy doesn't look too bad

I beat him using drumstick the fastest character in the game or if you have T.T unlock you can use him too. The trick to beat him though is cut the corners as narrowly as possible and learn the pattern of the lasers that shoots from the ships. Hope that sorta helps

No he doesn't shoot anything but the spaceships on the course does. I havent played in a long time but i think theres a part on that track where there a lot of lazer being fired in one area. Before you get there though theres a ballon item that gives you the shield. It helps a lot if you can get that shield before entering that area as its pretty tough to avoid the lasers. Hey you are talking about the second and final race in future fun land right?

The easiest way to beat him is to let go of the A button right before you hit those Boosts. I was able to beat him with Crunch and he's low as hell. If you ever beat him and get those space stages, make sure to beat time attack on every level in the game to unlock TT. Fastest MoFo in the game. I think you have to beat him in the vehicle you start off with in the menu before racing, I don't remember.

i swear i rented this game at least 20 times as a kid but never purchased it. i still play it via project64 and its one of the only games i played as a kid that's still fun.

Wow, the nostalgia. I used to love this game. Wendy was always my favorite character, and her house was my favorite course because I knew it the best and adored the music. Good times. ^-^
