Oh gosh, I think the world knew They were beautiful skaters. Every thing they did was beautiful and complete - the jumps, the lifts - just stroking.
The Russians were powerful - but they were not beautiful skaters.

This shows how truly great they were. So sad they never really got to prove it to the world. Star-crossed skaters I guess you could say...definitely America's greatest pairs team.
