dose any one know if you tune a fiddle differently when playing Celtic music?

Actually, it depends. Most fiddlers play in the same tuning as the violon, so GDAE, but some tune it a half-tone higher and so play tunes a half-tone higher.

@WhatsTheFolk i have played violin for 13 years almost, i dont see why anyone would want to play a half step up.. =-\ interesting bit of info there though!

they are both great musicans.. lookin for melodie/Rondes de Loudeac..sad cause it's not here yet... think the guitar is played by johnny cunningham and not by cal scott, but i'm not sure... but otherwise i think it don't matter if kevin play with cal or with jonny... they are both great guitar palyers..
