Idk what to say to convince you but I used to be a pretty hardcore fan of E65, and back when I hung out at their official forum this song was brought up and they themselves said it wasn't by them (they replied to forum posts every now and then ♥). It was many years ago though, so I won't be able to find you a link. But it really isn't by them.
