I'm in Pattaya at the moment (unfortunately a forced stay)

I've never seen such a dirt and disorganized place in my life. I don't understand what people come to do over here. I understand single men, because for them it's paradise. But young couples? And last but not least: this place is full of russians, here are more russians then thai people. And most of them are even very rude russians, they don't know how to behaive else where.

Go to Koh Lan, Koh Samet or Koh Chang if you visit Pattaya and want to swim. Pattaya's beach water temperature is like 80-85 degrees...but isn't the cleanest water.

Have to say I concur...

Everytime we took our two kids for a day on the beach - by early evening they both had some weird skin rash on their tummies, legs and arms...

Even worse just further south in Rayong as theres a chemical plant there.

Used to drive my little girl mad - she couldn't sleep and very agitated.

The cameras I use are the JVC GC-PX1 and the JVC Everio GZ-HD7. (with fish-eye, wide angle and macro detachable lenses).

Cant recommend swiming in pattaya gulf waters. the sewage of pattaya is piped not too far from the beach. I swam it once and got urinary tract infection.

@FarangBalls Take a bathtaxi or rent a moped for nothing, and drive to Jomtien Beach! Better water and better service at the beach :) I will recomend that, and btw, in three years with my family in Pattaya, we never had problems with your issue... Good Luck next time :)
