I took the video on Sept 20/2010. That was a great year for salmon, not as good this year, from what I could tell. I think, from MNR info, that down here, the salmon spawn a bit further up the river, where no fishing is allowed.
I'll see if I can ask the guys down at Saddington tomorrow - some are fishing on the lake part, but others in the river bay are getting catfish and carp.
yeaaa i caught nothin -.- whad u guys used for bait my parents used a worm bait but got a small atlantic fish i used a small fish fake live bait and got 0
@travler2008 YT wouldn't let me post the full link so copy and past the last line to get the site, or click Show More below the video to get the link on the Information page.
@xXxGildartxXx you dont need one till your 16 bud your fine just treat the fish well and let them swim so you can enjoy fighting them for years to come good luck what ever you do dont land them like that if you dont plan to keep them
THx but I am the videographer not the fisherman -will find out. The guys catching the fish all seemed to have the same rod, only thing I recall is it's used for river fishing - cast out and it drifts downstream and need skill to use it - will get the name of it from a local store - and roe sacks. Yes nice fish :-) will pass on to Mike.
@Trinanese actually there called Centerpin rods and reels, it was originally adapted from the mooching reels used along the Pacific coast for king salmon (chinook). Many anglers choose it because the hold tonnes of line, many hold 900 yards of line. It tends to be awkward the first time you use it, but you'll get the hang of it. There usually used for float fishing steelhead and salmon but can be also for bottom bouncing.
Can you keep the fish you catch in the credit river and is there a possession limit?
