  • and secondly... our American economy doesn't depend on cars as much as the Germans or Japanese... like i said before Europe doesn't even have high-tech exports... Germany is the economic center of Europe and they've been carrying Europe for a long time... which is why the euro-project wont last... i mean look at Jaguar... it's owned by some indian company.

  • The biased Japs were never able to recreate these problems... hahahaa, i wonder why!!! you need an impartial jury you moron. and no, Japanese cars aren't made with good quality, no longer at least... they're crap... my sister's Nissan and my mom's Nissan are already breaking down.. My sister's altima (bought new) had the AC break down.. well, no more AC, and guess what the dealer said... can't fix it, not part of the warranty. so much for superior japanese quality.

  • even with "running it into the ground" we're still the largest makers... and it was GM that needed the bailout, not Ford, i like American cars because i believe they're the best for your money... i wouldn't drive a BMW because it's not practical, too expensive...and snobby. Volkwagen is good, but no longer built in Germany for the most part. mostly Mexico... Volkwagen has a HUGE plant in Puebla, Mexico.

  • and they never blamed the floormat.. that's what Toyota said.... it was an acceleration problem dealing with the pedal and the electronic system... quit making excuses for the japs... their cars suck.

  • i mean germans and europeans in general dont really have high tech exports*** that's why the germans put all their eggs in one basket with their automobile industry. and American cars like i said, are now seen as being of better quality than Japanese cars. As far as "hype". i think you've bought into the anti-American hype better than anyone. For someone who doesn't care much about American cars, you sure go on a lot of videos talking crap.

  • Alot of stuff from when america could actually build cars. Sure they were great for burnouts and were gasoline drinking death traps but they were cool. The stuff the american car industry is serving us nowdays is all rubbish. No wonder the car industry in USA is losing billions a year.

  • Not to mention all the fuckin JAP shit thats making everyone lose their jobs... i say get rid of walmart and costco and all jap cars.... their junk

  • No no no you got that wrong. Japanese cars being GOOD is not to blame for american cars being BAD.. America ran their car industry to the ground all by themselves. They cant point fingers at anyone else. All companies want to make money.. its called capitalism. The trouble is that US government does not take responsability for their people. its left up to the individual or the individual company to sort out pensions or healthcare. Which in civilized countries is handled by the government.

  • @Janusha too bad these days japanese cars are nothing but American killing japtraps. And statistically American cars based on all the respected car rating agencies are of better quality than japtraps... My 2000 Mustang has been treated like shit for 125000k miles and still runs like new.... i recognize your sn, you're just an American car hater.

  • Its funny that Japanese cars only kill americans. This fictional problem doesnt exsist elsewhere. So could it perhaps be another campaign to claw back some desperately needed marketshares for US cars? Think for a bit before buying the hype.

Its also no wonder that american cars "win" in all american rewiews and tests and fail in all international ones. Infact the quality of US-cars have made very few of them sell abroad for decades. But what do I know.. Im just an anti american propagandist.

  • @Janusha the recalls have been made in Japan as well... and Americans do actually sell cars abroad, in Europe Ford sells big, and in China American cars sell very well. Then again, cars aren't as important to our economy as for the Germans. Germans dont really have high tech imports like us Americans. And for those "American reviews" They actually have praised German and Japanese cars as well through the decades, so when they praise American cars a European like you gets all mad, haha

  • Recalls are common. Unlike some idiots think, they arent taken back to Japan and scrapped. They are simply driven to the local dealer to have a minor tweak or a slight fix that takes half an hour. All this OMG JAPANESE CARS ARE KILLING AMERICANS bullshit. Hell GM even promised thousands of dollars discount to those that would denounce the false Japanese prophet and return to the church of american steel. They are playing it for what its worth and blowing it into a storm in a glass of water.

  • @Janusha yea, but one thing you dont understand is that when Ford and GM were having recalls in the 80's and 90's they blew it up too... so it's not because they're Japanese.... and as for Japanese cars... alot of Nissans and Toyota's are engineered and manufactured in the US, just that some of the parts come from Japan. when Ford and GM had their recalls the Japanese played it for "what it's worth" too, that's how they became big... till people found out jap cars are crap.

  • Some foreign cars are made in USA because USA put a limit on how many cars were allowed to be imported. To protect their own brands that were losing market shares. Just like they helped them out by spending 100 billion dollars on them. Which naive americans believe GM and the rest have paid back already. Obama just spent another billion cleaning out 90GM factories that they left behind when they went from 80 000 workers in Michigan down to 7000. So... Does it sound like its all back to normal?

  • @Janusha Just like Germans building plants in Mexico????.. and again your basing all your knowledge on GM. Ford wasn't hurt or did not need any help from Uncle Sam.. I'll admit GM did... but based on the figures i've seen, the numbers are getting better for GM, (notice how i didn't say Ford) and like i said... when you're the largest car manufacturer in the world you're gonna have problems... it's easier to steer a small boat than the Titanic.

  • Haha always the same answer when I point to the well known fact that all american car companies died. They all say FORD DIDNT!! Well no. They took up a 27billion something dollar loan just before the shit hit the fan. So they got that to pay instead of government aid. Also they were helped by the afore mentioned steady sale of good European Fords. They were under government protection just like the rest. And even Harley Davidson. They all survived by axing tens of thousands of loss making jobs.

  • And Chrysler got it the worst really.. They were worse off than GM and was infact given away to Fiat for free to prevent total collapse. Fiat in turn had to promise to change all Chrysler tech for Fiat models within 4 years or Obama wont pay off their enormous debts. As for GM. They paid back their 5-6 billion LOAN. But what about the 100 billion total spendings on the car business. Of which GM got atleast 40.

  • If GM has paid it all back and is now smelling of roses.. why is it still government owned. Chrysler isnt Fiat just for now. Its forever. Also its silly how americans try to claim ownership of Euro-Fords now that they are being marketed in USA under the universal Ford logo. Most americans never heard of a Focus RS, Kuga, Fiesta And they were never american products.

There is simply no excuse for the shameless profiteering and enormous mismanagement uncovered in the aftermath of all this.

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

  • @Janusha "taken to the dealer to have a tweak fixed" LOL... massive acceleration problems are not something that can be fixed so simply by a dealership. The Japanese fucked up and you're making excuses for them... it's unfair that the Japanese get treated better than when the Ford and GM had recalls... at least Ford and GM admitted their problem... not hid it under the rug knowingly while Americans died.... u know nothing... you're just a well known Youtube troll.

  • Funny isnt it.. that these massive acceleration problems only happen in USA. Blaming the floor mat and shit. If a grown person cant be responsible for his own god damn floormats, he really shouldnt be driving a car. Why would I be making excuses on behalf of Japs? Do you think there is some international anti american conspiracy? You are just repeating the dumb oneliners others feed you.

  • @Janusha why are you making excuses for the Japs then? the recalls happened in Japan too, like i said. why they happened in USA? ask Toyota... the cars were tested and found to have accleration problems. that's it.. there's no excuse for that... US is a large market for Japanese cars...they're bound to have recalls. the notion of superior Japanese quality is a much overblown statement.

  • The Japs make cars with very good quality. They were never able to recreate any of these issues in testing.

Cars break down or crash. Thats what cars do. No car is forever. But obviously now... after all this Toyota bashing is all over the media, now when a Toyota crashes, the driver will say IT TRIED TO KILL MEEE.. Instead of admiting he was an idiot. So that he can claim billions through legal settlements. Hell some people even crash their Toyotas on purpose so they can cash in.

  • As for these Euro Fords. Youre talking about Fords that were designed, funded, built, marketed and sold 100% without US involvment. Euro Ford has been run as a completly seperate entity since Ford England and Ford Germany went together decades ago. Only NOW that american cars kinda died, are they marketing the Euro Fords in USA. Also.. China gets korean built GMs through trade agreements. After the US-car collapse USA crowbarred themselves into the chinese market using political pressure.

  • @Janusha they're still American brands... your German cars like BMW are barely built in Germany anyways... i went to a BMW dealership here in my hometown, only about 30% of the car was built in Germany. and Euro Ford and cars in China are still American owned... and the US car industry never collapsed you moron... the only thing that will collapse is the stupid Euro currency and the Euro union... which was a bastardized attempt at having an American style Union, which is a REAL UNION.

  • and another thing, American car companies are the biggest in the world.. they're the biggest for a reason... and of course they're gonna make mistakes every once in a while... nobody's perfect... i mean look at all of Toyota's recalls. I do feel sorry for the Germans though, all these shitty euro countries latch themselves onto the Germans and pass off German cars as being "European"... Germany is basically carrying the Euro project.. wont be long before ur euro crumbles.

  • Todays GMs are Daewoo with a GM badge. Never touched by american hands. Euro Fords are European and Chryslers have been old Mercedes bases, now becoming Italian Fiat.

I never understood this desperate need to be proud and patriotic about cars and defend them to death even after the big 3 americans ran themselves to the ground in the most shameless display of ignorance and arrogance. After wasting 100 billion taxpayers money to bail them out and you still defend them. Amazing. Raise a flag.

  • And there you go... When talking to an american about anything. Cars, politics or god help us all, your god damn army, its only a matter of time before the inevitably relentless flagwaving starts.

American car companys are the biggest for a reason... perhaps because USA has alot of people. Companies will be large. But they also died for a reason. A very good reason.

  • @Janusha Europe has a much larger population than USA, so does China... and their car companies aren't as big as us... we're huge for a good reason.. no no sir, population doesn't have anything to do with it... Germans and Japanese have been competing here in the USA for decades and American cars are still king, THE LARGEST MAKERS IN THE WORLD... EVEN WITH GERMAN AND JAP COMPETITION. so dont try to rationalize.

  • why cant they have nice american cars in AMERICA

  • Very enjoyable video... great cars !!

  • Nice show!

  • Yes burn out areas must have a safety barrier like a guard rail on both sides and a gal mesh 6 ft fence here in Australia.

  • Those people seemed a little too close to the burnout area, but nice cars none the less.

  • Cool...
