ok, what patton is doing here is impersonating a heroine addict who got stage time at a club in toronto. He kept falling asleep int he middle of his bit which is why he pauses, then comes back in randomly. so there are little chunks missing. this is without a doubt the funniest thing ive ever heard patton oswalt do. so good

The only problem I really have with this video is you don't show the part explaining what Patton was doing, which was hosting an open mic in Toronto. So if I wanted to show this to someone, and they didn't really know Patton's work, they would be confused.

@genecidicskyhi aw man i was cracking up in silence... you know if i'm not mistaken that guy was on comedy central.. the guy he was impersonating... are you familiar with the joke on Seinfeld... when they couldn't get a table at an asian restaurant... mainly because they couldn't find a guest on the list after they called... the Dufanes. So jerry goes nuts looking for him. The writer of that joke is the same comic who wrote that joke... must have taken it from him. I wonder.
