She is a great singer with The Pretenders, a rock band. This is not her finest moment, to be sure. She hardly seems to even know the song, and certainly doesn't feel the music. The music and lyrics require the vocalist to imbue it with warmth, and she failed miserably.

I agree with you. it's not her best moment. I love her, but do love Uncle Bob a lot much More! she missed the lyrics a few times, but made the correction on time. Even Bob missed some of his lyrics, so diz is not such a big mistake. Nice UK English version, however

As far as my comment is written, i have stated that she (Hynde)lived in UK, and yes, Hendrix debuted in UK, but do not sing with UK english like accent. She probably got influence of UK way to talk, but maybe that's my opinion, (IMO). Also, Bob's english it's far more close to UK (some US guys do not understand his (Patois / UK english)
