i need to know why the us army didn't make this for the xbox also like americas army 2. I am dying to get it but i am not big into computer games. i can almost guarantee it that they would make money with a game like that. People are always looking for more realistic fps games and modern warfare is getting old. People are already saying that the next cod may be there last. I think if they fix the button layout from what it was in AA2 then this game has the potential to be the best fps game ever

@KNDReaper I have a problem with the game being used as a recruitment tool while also misrepresenting what the horrors of war are really like. It's conditioning kids to see the people they fight in battle as something other than human, where killing them is consequence free and frankly easier than keeping them alive.
I just think that at a certain point, the army is being a little irresponsible by engaging in the programing of young people's minds like this.

This game is great its just buggy and patches have been released to fix most of them however it just lacks content I rate this game 5/5 its awesome even for a F2P game heck I would pay to play the game the training is awesome, but I still prefer AA2 all the way :)
My country had a HUGE community of gamers wanting this game.
But thanks to all of the release problems believe it or not but 60% of the community headed back to AA2.5 and now our community is split to two sides.
With is less fun because we were all like brothers in this game.

Without this problems our community was about 95% on AA3.
And there was even a vote who will stay and who will get AA3.

PC gaming is superior in every way. Im not bound to a joystick first of all. I have my mouse and keyboard...and maybe a steering wheel for driving games which is still better than a controller. Since the end of the N64 i can't go back PC is the shit. Period.

MW2 is a polished piece of shit that should have been nothing more than an Add-on for COD4. Its a mod. Look at the mods for 4. everything in MW2 was in a mod for 4 over a year before it came out.

@raymond6985 Is there something wrong with the Army? In the military, you have the some of the best benefits for your family, such as free health care, dental care, and so on. You get to shop at some of the cheapest stores,(I have yet to see any stores match the PX, or the Commissary on base in prices) and you get to see more of the world than most people could ever hope to. mw2 uses binary files, instead of DLLs and game caches, its the problem is IWNET not VAC, punkbuster just looks for .exe files named OBVIOUSFUCKINGHACK.EXE

No you can download it here. But the concept of a FPS made by the military was the brainchild of the CF. We just didn't have enough funding for it. So the U.S adopted the idea.
The Reason the game is free is because it's a recruitment tool. How many of you have been getting mail from the Army since you've played this game? Still is fun. It was awesome even before Xbox360 and PS3 were out.

Mw2 is trash, it was a game that was made with one goal in mind, Money. they through in the most retarded crap they could find and catered to the idiot fan boys to a fault. The game had so many story line flaws that I would never be able to list them all and the multiplayer is full of people with one goal in mind. get a kill streak the easiest way they can.
This game is the best free FPS out there and you are a pathetic fan boy to blind to see quality in anything that doesnt have COD on it.

MW2 is a polished piece of shit that should have been nothing more than an Add-on for COD4. Its a mod. It runs on the exact same code, they made new levels, new weapons and a few new kill streaks, cranked up the damage on the weapons and threw a 2 on the game and called it new. Congrats. you payed 60 dollars for a game that you bought 2 years ago, and fell for their claims that it is a new game. Look at the mods for 4. everything in MW2 was in a mod for 4 over a year before it came out.

You get to shop at some of the cheapest stores,(I have yet to see any stores match the PX, or the Commissary on base in prices) and you get to see more of the world than most people could ever hope to. @raymond6985 Well its easy to see that you buy in to the state run media propaganda that the Army is nothing more than a bunch of rapest's and killers, Well if you actually did your research, you would know that they don't just randomly fire, and that they sometimes wait up to 5 minutes for permission to engage hostiles. All while the hostiles are trying to kill their brothers in arms. Ive seen more video of them waiting for permission than them attacking than anything else.

I personaly feel that the people thatplay this do so because most of the arcade shooter players(COD players), for the most part, cant play for shit, so they avoid games that have any realism to them. That and because most people arnt willing to put the time in to getting the game to run right, there are a lot fewer hackers as well. But again, if you would rather play things like Combat Arms and so on, feel free to. To each there own.

@freakyclown911 modern warfare is ruined by hackers, im not arguing that, its because they decided to use a anti cheat engie that works by identifying modifications of the core .exe and dll files
this works fine for css, and source games, and there are little to no hacks to date (go ahead, prove me wrong, with some up to date working hacks)
mw2 uses binary files, instead of DLLs and game caches, its the problem is IWNET not VAC, punkbuster just looks for .exe files named OBVIOUSFUCKINGHACK.EXE

No you can download it here. But the concept of a FPS made by the military was the brainchild of the CF. We just didn't have enough funding for it. So the U.S adopted the idea.

i played cod4 and there is nothing new for me here.i allso think the no respawn stinkt because im not just gonna waste time of my live waiting to play again. allso i got alot fo bug like im not able to close en menu and i never get toll tips so i dont know the controles. and the aiming is just fail. but ow well it makes sense cod4 is still 50 euros and aa3 is for free
