Sorry, it's well known knowledge that many big cell phone companies like Verizon and others provide a separate line that allows the government to listen in on any phone calls unregulated. They don't need to have actual people listening to every phone call either. It's called word recognition software. So you're sure that they don't give a flying fuck about all this?

The application was tested and written back in 1995 using the Startac phone. In 1999 it was approved and in 2000 the system was activated.

The 'bad guys' have known about it for a while. In meetings they remove their batteries and place it infornt of them as a gesture...

I think that placing the phone (turned off) into an aluminum coated plastic bag would truly take the phone "off the air." One could look around for a small aluminum case for a more permanent solution. Turn off the phone since it can't receive any incoming calls. Might as well save the battery life. Aluminum foil would also work, btw. Actually, any metal, like steel or copper would work too.

I think a good sign that something is wrong, is if your cell battery doesn't seem to last very long when you use it. Bad battery or is it transmitting?
