Best way to do this run jump at side or front rail let go of analog stick so your guy can grip on. Don't keep pushing up on analog stick common mistake tends to make you fail trying to get on it. But if you let go of analog stick it's instant your on then you just climb up .

The reason people keep falling off the ledge when they jump for it is because when you do jump for it, the second your characters arms disapear you let go of the analog stick. then you can start climbing. if you dont and you jump and keep holding the analog stick foward you will slip off the ledge
