@darkrai90210 Learning Karate (or ANY Martial Art) is to give you important life skills such as self confidence and discipline, as well as to teach you to defend yourself in a hostile situation "What if he jumps you?" That IS a different story, and even then you have to practice restraint. Sure, me or any one of my friends at the Dojo could probably handle themselves in a fight, but ONLY as a last resort.

As for everyone saying Schulmans is a Mcdojo, that I'm not sure of (never been in one)
