Y hablé de los chivitos (que me encanta acompañado de una Patricia), pero hay tantas cosas deliciosas qué probar en Uruguay: carnes, pastas, vinos, postres, en fin, una gran variedad de platillos y bebidas. Y al ver esas escenas de las carnes asadas del Mercado del Puerto mhhh, me volvió a dar hambre!

Mi comentario inicial iba a ser el siguiente: si van a Uruguay no dejen de probar el clásico "Chivito". Yo lo he probado en varios lados pero me pareció mejor en el "Chivito de Oro", que está en la avenida 18 de julio. Delicioso.

Además de la buena carne lo que caracteriza a la parrilla uruguaya es que las brasas son de leña dura y no de carbón como en otros paises de la región. Todas la parrillas tienen un quemador para poner la leña, y eso le da un sabor característico.

Es más como decía un amigo: nosotros cuando hacemos nuestra casa hacemos un parrillero con comodidades para poder vivir.

A propósito no saben como me quedó el "asadito" de navidad, con leña como corresponde.

Estuve en el puerto hace 3 anios atras y comi pescado......q desperdicio!!!!!!!! Esa Morcilla se ve de maravilla.....q manjar de carne. La proxima vez me voy pa la estancia. Arriba Bourdain q estuvistes en Uruguay y demostrastes lo bueno q tenemos. Uruguay el pequenio gigante!!!!
