i would have been 10 when that was on, sitting with my PJ top pulled over my knees, drinking milky coffee, pretending i wasn't well enough for school because i had to leave after the turtles before lamb chops play along came on.

is just me or did the adverts seem a lot better in the past ,im not sure if im holding on the nostalgic side but the times just seemed a lot better ,saying that i was only a child.

i use to live and breath the dj cat show and its weires how you forget all the memories but when i watched this it brought it all rushing back,running home from school to get in in time for teenage mutant ninja turtles ...and and that detective duck show ..great thanks for posting made my day

Well that's not entirely true. Before Sky One started, there was Sky Channel - english speaking channel, broadcast from Holland. DJ Kat Show was broadcast from Hilversum, Holland, and was hosted by Linda DeMol. There as also Fun Factory on saturday mornings - they ran classics like Transformers gen 1.

This was all back in 85 - 86...

I was 10 then... 32 now.

Nah, the S4C programme is from *1984*. MCMXCIV would be 1994. In any case, Sky had stopped using this style of promotion and ident look on September 1st 1993, when the Sky Multi-Channels began and Sky took on the purple look.
