  • If somebody other than Doyle made that call people would be calling him an idiot.

  • Patrick: 'How can you make that call?

Doyle: 'How can you make that bet?

This, fellow youtubers, is what I like to call an old school fuck you.

  • two of the greats

  • Doyle Brunson is the Man, Yea

  • Any pair over douches is good head up

    Right play by Doyle

  • Patrick: 'How can you make that call?

Doyle: 'How can you make that bet? Were playing poker, not solitaire.'

    CLASSIC!

Extreme, but ABSOLUTELY the right call by Doyle Brunson! It doesn't matter that it was only 3s, the odds say that Patrick DOESN'T have a pair, and that puts Doyle in the driver's seat. Since he has Patrick outstacked, this is a GREAT call!

  • @Steve99jp66 My bad! Patrick had Doyle outstacked. But Doyle must have realized Patrick was trying to bully him, and this was probably his best chance to turn the tide. Not ideal, but still the right call.

  • @Steve99jp66 donk.... not saying doyle played bad but you are a donk haha

  • doyle bunson isnt very good

  • lol he looks like a silly old man but far from it1

  • OMG Antonius with hair!

  • And he breaks into a big texas grin

  • some luck for an old man

  • If i did this I would have been made fun of by everyone and would have been told that i suck at poker and should probably quit.

  • the time Patrick carred about the money, i ve never seen him be so emotional at the poker table, ever...

  • @juv3ntin It was his hair that made him emotional.

  • "How could *I* make that call? ... How could *you* make that bet??" ... Ladies & Gentlemen, that is what it's all about.

  • The most classy player. The way he is just calmly smiling throughout the whole game. Legend.

  • you got schooled by the greatest patrick!

  • Owned!

  • legend !!

  • SO MAssive and so genuinely happy!

  • "We're playin' poker, not sollitaire."

    Fuckin' classic dolly.

  • 2:47 patrik:"how can you make that call?" doyle:"you say how can i make that call.i say how can you make that bet?"

classic line from cincinatti kid.Doyle is a fucking legend :-)

  • 2:27 Like a boss!

  • i wouldnt say '' at his best '' it was an easy call tbh, brunson was hoping patrick had AK AJ AQ A10, and he would be racing. simple call.

  • are they actually playing with 7 million?

  • @themishappen no ofc not....this is a tournament

  • Doyle is awesome.

  • patrick looks like a right cunt he has improved over the years

  • Please reply : why did patrick needed any 10 or 6's to win the hand ?

  • @MrSexeh That would give them both two pair on the board, counterfeiting Brunson's pocket 3s and giving Patrik the best hand with Ace kicker.

  • @MrSexeh cuz the 9 turn card made a pair in the table so if he catch a 10 or a 6 the 33 pair of doyle will became usless so if a 10 apear patrik would catch 9 9 10 10 and A as kicker same to 99 66 A kicker and doyle would catch 33 66 or 33 10 10 with a low kicker so he will lose

  • I think that we can all agree that Doyle knows what he's doing and we probably don't! I mean the guy played poker long before most of us were born. Show some respect!

  • Antonius played a shitty hand and acted like it was someone elses fault when he was called

  • @orourkeda we meet every where :D

  • its hard go gauge the table dynamic from 1 small clip... but doyle said hes tired of getting pushed around..which might have meant Patrick was running over the table and he made a stand not a really good spot limp calling tournament life but no guts no glory

  • PA doesn't raise all in with a big pair, definitely not with 10s or above. That's why the all in move is so stupid, its much worse than the call because its obvious that PA can't be super strong.

  • doyle brunson limp-calls all in when he has fuck all invested in the pot with a pair of threes.

No this is probably the stupidest worst play he's ever made

  • @LeighOak Of course it wasn't, Antonius had been playing super aggressive and Doyle had a made hand so he made a stand - they're playing poker, not Solitaire

  • @LeighOak Antonius had been playing super aggressive and Doyle had a made hand so he made a stand - they're playing poker, not Solitaire

  • @LeighOak Antonius had been playing super aggressive and Doyle had a made hand so he made a stand - they're not playing Solitaire

  • @LeighOak lol "limp-calls all in", wtf else was he gonna do, raise? dummy.

  • @DayDreamAscent either raise pre or fold outright. it is a stupid play with a pair of threes, with a hand like that you would rather not run the board, just ship it and take the blinds. Brunson is a great poker player but this move is retarded I'm sure he was just tilting

  • @LeighOak No it isn't. It's 3-handed, he very well could've had in mind to limp-shove from the beginning, any pocket pair is likely the best hand in this spot and he assumes he'll be at worst 50-50. Is it standard? No, but hardly a bad play given the dynamics here.

  • who won in this tournament?

  • If you're heads up, play a pocket pair strong, unless they're douches

  • I felt kinda sorry for PA when he almost started to celebrate at the river. And I also think this was a bad call.. He looks like genius because he's ahead but I think he thought he was flipping at best and just wanted to gamble.

  • everyone thumbs down the annoying rip doyle comments

  • nice brunson quote... But 33 is a poor call there indeed. hahahahaha... Patrik:"A2 is the best hand i can have for you there", meaning that being 2:1 dog was the worst case senario considering his shoving range. Obv Doyle was taking a stand by limp/calling. It looks stupid even if he won.. hahahaha... I mean he is at best flipping except if up against A2,A3,22... hah poor dolly... he didn't even think of it ;p

  • RIP DOYLE BRUNSON 1857-2012 poker lost a legend!

  • @TabCrusher LOL

  • Patrik : "I'll be back."

  • dunno why it's called "at his best" that limp/call is indeed quite terribad there

  • @TomMolivan u kno nothing about poker do u man

  • @TomMolivan

its called "his best" because of his reply,

    that should be obvious

  • be quiet patrick, that was a terrible shove! solid call, the dealer wasnt rigging it either soo good call

  • lmfao@ young patrik thinking he won it on the river then tryin to play it off....HAHAHA you can clearly see patrik thought it was a ten at first glance...

  • eh doyle isnt that great of a player. i cant believe i wasted money on super system. his advice is litterally bet a bunch and you will get lucky sometimes. really???

  • @riedstep

    Doyle isn't great ? !

    you're a moron

you don't consistently place that high in tournaments for that long if you're not great

  • 0:49 look at that evil smile of his, he knows its game over for the other dude. brunson is just awesome.

  • you say "How can I make that call" i say how can you make that bet?- Brunson really is a legend

  • RIP DOYLE

  • @Alephify he is not dead. GTFO

  • Don't bully a legend ... :D

  • HE IS A TRUE LEGEND!!!

  • mr. doyle you will now rake in the big pots in heaven above us. rip. much love. i still cant believe he dieded and made deathed. derp.

  • @getduloh he didnt "dieded"

  • @eusobr33 im pretty sure doyle deathed. rip mister boyle drundon pokers.

  • @eusobr33 have some respect for the deceased punk! Learn some manners!

  • @bierbuik l0o0lo0lo stfu

  • @eusobr33 That wisecracking will get you nowhere son! What you need is a good beating!

  • we are playin poker, not solitaire !!

  • At 2:22 it looks like Patrik thinks he wins!! ;D

  • LIKE A F**KING BOSS!

  • Weird seeing patrik antonius with hair

  • Why wasn't this the biggest pot in televised history? It's fucking 8 million

  • @ANormalGuy because the stupid commentators says "dollars" instead of the "chips" which is the right term.

  • @ArabBruun What? Seriously? Thats all? Dude, this is almost 8 times any "Biggest Pot" ive seen -_-"

  • @ANormalGuy no, I think you misunderstood what i said. This is NOT the biggest pot shown on TV. This is a tournament in which the chips does not relate to real money. However, even though the biggest pot on tv is somewhere around 1-2 million, many pots in real cash games could be much bigger than that (right now there is a big cash game in Macau where a rumor reported says one pot was at $14M!!).

  • @ArabBruun :S yeah, I know about that. I've heard pot that goes up to 5~10 mils.

Ic >_> So thats why. I thought tourney were played with your own money lol.

  • 'How can i make that call? How can YOU make that bet??!!' Haha chillin-like-a-villain!

  • Booom! One for the hero.

  • We play Poker not solitaire :-D

  • Like a boss...

  • Damn was Doyle young back then :)

  • thumbs if you are sad that doyle dieded

  • Comment removed

  • @getduloh he's still alive retard

  • take notes patrick

  • LMFAO! Check out Brunson's bitches behind him. He definitely got him some that night.

  • wow great Doyle!

  • vamos texas dolly!!!

  • In this clip Antonius is a dumb donk. Whining like a little bitch about Doyles standard call and then thought the third nine helped him lol. He's a great player though.

  • Antonius came on here and gave thumbs down 3 times.

  • 2:53

Patrick knows the big popa just schooled him a little bit.

  • gooooooooo doyle wooooo

  • @max34be + in heads up, you've got no time to sit and wait for a big hand pre flop, the blinds will slowly kill your stack.

  • How could you make that call?

How could you make that call, how could you make that bid?

  • Doyle knows hes a baws

  • doyle is a fu cking god =) amazing call but i dont understand nothing all in with ace two offsuite? PA very unexperience here i think.

    Sorry for my english

  • @Manu165 maybe you havent played in tourneys, but there is rarely a limp in tourneys, specially at that stage that there were three people left.so when Doyle limped, he put him on a weak hand like 5 2 or 4 6 off. Since patrick is so aggressive, he just wanted to win it preflop with the all in. it was a misread.

  • "...solitare", hahahaha!

  • 2:55 Brunson FTW

  • Wow, Big Papa owned PA here :)

  • antonius with hair, until he took an arrow to the knee...

  • patrick looks like a young arnold :D

  • @xtrashibby that was exactly what I was about to say

  • @xtrashibby LOL I never thought of that

  • @xtrashibby He actually looks like Brad Pitt .

  • patrik once said in an interview that he doesnt read poker books, so he never read the super system by doyal. mabey he should have before he played against the PAPA =))

  • Is this Brad Pitt?

  • We are playing poker not solitaire!

  • @Koopatroopa01 Doyle needs to tell that to a lot of people who freak every time they see paint!

  • This must've been a long time ago.

  • my god patrick looks so young there

  • Wow antonious was soft

  • Antonius looks so young! He should have hair all the time ;)

"We're playing poker, not solitaire" = priceless!

Ahhhhh back in the good old days when the fish were plentiful...

  • old school !

  • waaauw what a call

  • LOL were playing poker not solitare

  • PA noob.

  • @zzzgdap Do you type that on every vid you see Antonius? He's a millionaire, who the hell are you? And what's a noob, donk.

  • @gayutubefuckyou Yep, every PA video as I took him for nearly 4 mill two years back. Noob.

  • @zzzgdap Learn English. Geek.

  • that is the first time I have seen Antonius with hair

  • pretty sure jamming with A2 there is fine...doyles call was effing terrible fwiw...A2 and 22 are the only 2 hands doyle is crushing everything else he's flipping with or crushed by.

Doyle can't read bodylanguage in that spot...antonious could feel uncomfortable with A4 and he'd still be in decent shape vs doyle.

  • @brodyunderscorezagar yeah their such fish lol

  • Lol Patrick with hair

  • @geoper2 lol

  • Patrik is better now, but at the core he is still a donk!

  • Clearly, pat's game has come a loooong way. I can't see him making those kind of mistakes today. And especially not whining. He's one most cold blooded cats in the world now.

  • hAha what a dumbass donk Antonius

  • wow! epic ending words...

  • @1.48 commentator says he has 6 more outs when the 9 came: any 6, any 10 any ace! Ok, I get the ace but how could a 10 or a 6 help?! wtf!

  • @lupu1001 Basically in hold em it is the best 5 card hand. The reason any A would help is obvious, but the 6 or 10 would put two pair higher than 3s on the board. So essentially if a 10 or 6 hits, Patrik's hand would be two pair with an ace kicker. So say its a 6, he would have 9, 9, 6, 6, A for best 5 card hand. Doyle would simply be playing the board because his pocket 3s would be counterfeited. In Texas hold em there is no such thing as "3 pairs" and the community cards can be used by both.

  • @sc2sourcenet OMG! I thought Doyle was holding JJ. It's all clear now. Vide quality sucks. Thanks for the reply.

  • @lupu1001 Because antonius woulda made 2 pair with a A kicker

  • 0:25-0:30 did Doyle read his body language? Antonius looked very weak, probably gave away his hand. Why go all in with A-2 off suit?

  • yes it is, chance of making a pair is 48%, so having a pair already makes you about 52% favourite.

  • pat has hair

  • how can he make that bet? that was monster

  • 'How could you make that bet?' Damn right Doyle! A pocket pair is a monster heads up and it is ahead of any big ace or two overcards, if Patrick had a big pair he wouldn't have shoved, great call

  • @mattyh50 it's not ahead of any 2 overcards.

  • @2:53 Antonius looks kinda like Brad Pitt

  • @1:51 Antonius looks kinda like Brad Pitt

  • all in on an ace-2...Brunson is so wonderful for calling him out on his B.S.

  • Did not know brunson was this fat wow

  • @SacEvil777 He is just full of epicness

  • "The guy's only got 1 overcard instead of 2 like you'd expect him to have"... How can A2 be 2 overcards to any hand?

  • @Brocky8000 The commentator is saying that when one player has pockets 3s, you would expect the other player to have two overcards, not that you would expect A2 to be 2 overcards to most hands.

  • how old is patrik here? hes actually talking, and he has hair.....

  • @dieselboy87 I guess this was like 4-5 years ago, so he was something like 25-26. Now he's 30 or 31 as I remember right. I'm from Finland aswell, his my biggest idol lol

  • how could you make that bet...brunson sums it up...a lesson from the best

  • hes fat damm

  • Doyle the master teaching the young bucks a thing or two!!!

  • doyle is the only guy who would make such a comeback and still sound as nice the guy he always has been. just politely putting patrick in his place

  • anyone justifying that shove by patrick needs to realise that it only showed desperation and weakness. doyles been in the biz for decades, so he caught on to it like flies on a web. tbh even if he lost it was still a good call in context because patrick was reli risking the wrath of a bad board. what does A2 guarantee patrick? nothing. if the hand had potential, he would have gradually invested rather throw all the power away to a flip board. reli naive play, and rightfully no suckout

  • seriously patrick, how , just how can you make a shove with A2?? A2! the cards did justice and taught patrick not to mess with the odds

  • old school vegas, and also full of wisdom. show em how its done in texas doyley (y)

  • lol, first time i see Patrick with hair, fail.

  • Comment removed

  • how can you make that call

yeah how can you make that bet lol

  • You know what's more aggravating than youtube poker pros? people who fucking quote every line of the video.

  • its so weird seeing antonius with so much emotion

  • who won this tournament?
