Boss is quite easy guys!!! i failed my first attempt because i went in with melee/ range gear with pots and all that shit, then i decided fuck this and i went in with simply a sara brew a restore a range pot a pray pot, black d'hide ranger helm and snakeskin boots, and i done it without a problem!!! dont bring a BOB as it will make the stare into the darkness attack always hit! when it reaches the bloodspatters just run! dont try to hit him just run till made it at 115 cbt 81 ranged :)

I died 4 times. On attempt 4 I just kept moving while it was in the air, didn't worry about hitting it (apart from the odd hit here and there)... That technique seemed to work better for me, it just took a lot longer :p

Not trying to act like a besserwiss, but just saying, you can melee throughout the whole boss, so if you don't have blisterwood stakes (talking to everyone to help out) just go with polearm the whole way

awesome quide, just a little thing for future guides: try to keep your camera directed to the north - I understand you have to turn it for the posters for example but than you just mention that - because it was hard to follow where you were going sometimes. In the middle tier, while talking to Maria Gadderanks in the prison, you said we have no idea if her husband is dead or not. In one of the previous quests, we kill an NPC named "Gadderanks" ourselves, which is where the Gadderhammer is from. :D

Only one thing is hard - Blood Bombardment part when you attack range is easy for auto-step in blood and take heavy dmg

the boss fight is NOT hard, as long as you know what to do.. I'm maxed melee and used karils and rapier for the bossfight. I used NO potions and only about 20 sharks. I've seen lvl 138's with full inv and pack yak with brews/restores die at the boss, and thats only because the DONT know what to do..
