Actually it is extremely enviromentally friendly as it uses fuel made from organic material and not oil. This means it is a renewable source and also produces less CO2 when burned.
Gorgeous machine. But 3 million? The veyron posts better 0-60 and quarter mile numbers, while weighing 1,600lbs more and making less horsepower; not to mention costing half as much. Is the ccxr awd? Wonder what gas mileage figures are like running e85.

georgegto, YES IT DOES have carbon ceramics! it also has 1004 bhp @7200 RPM, 1060 Newtons of torque @ 6100 RPM, 0-62mpg (0-100kpm) in 3.2 sec. with a lateral G-force of 1.4G, does 250mph, and uses ethanol, which not only is eco-friendly, but gives xtra cooling properties to the engine (which allows higher pressure in the cylinders which translates into more power. Has optional carbon/magnesium wheels. know your shit before you make yourself look stupid!

Yes indeed I know all that (though not off by heart) as I have the Koenigsegg Brochure here in front of me.
I just didn't feel the need to go into such immense detail about torque, G-Force and every single benefit of which there are many of the Ethanol fuel.

if i had enough money and the oppurtunity to buy a koenigsegg ccxr eddition (which i never will) i'd get the smaller wing used on the ccx as i think it makes the car look better. The big wing makes the car look taller form the side and not as sleek imo

Love that car. Looks way better than the Veyron. I would take a CCX anyday even if the car has a top speed that is roughly 2mph shorter.
I read in a car mag a while back that a would make only 5 or 6 models in the whole world. One of which would be sold in the US.

Actually it is extremely enviromentally friendly as it uses fuel made from organic material and not oil. This means it is a renewable source and also produces less CO2 when burned.

I still think Bugatti Veyron has its own style, and again, Koniegsegg has only beaten Veyron by a couple of miles.
Bugatti Veyron is not cheap or enviroment friendly, but its a classy roadkilling car.

I know, it has much more weight than Koenigsegg or that other american car that has just beaten off Koenigsegg and Veyron on top speed.
But still, its design, and interior features makes it a wonderful car, that in my opinion better than Koenigsegg.

Gorgeous machine. But 3 million? The veyron posts better 0-60 and quarter mile numbers, while weighing 1,600lbs more and making less horsepower; not to mention costing half as much. Is the ccxr awd? Wonder what gas mileage figures are like running e85.

Im not sayin the veyron is shit, actually its cool but I'd rather have this car 10 times before the veyron, looks better and runs faster and costs about the same.

I was actually helping out the broughtons stand at MPH08 at Earls Court that day!
I met Christian Von Koenigsegg there and he showed me around the CCXR there. I was on the stand for ages so you might of seen me!

WOW! I hear he is a cool man! I think that the CCXR is the only 100bhp car that is good enough to take on the Veyron finally. The Shelby SSC is a piece of crap and all those 900/1000bhp cars from other European companies are crap. CCXR cuts it the closest to beating the Veyron!
