@jabulani1001 well, I would't say they're not as good as the old games, they're good in each their way, but I agree, they were something special, but Hot Pursuit 2010 was, in my opinion, a good try to get back to the roots, though they made it more arcade-style with the weapons they included.

I love this game. I can still remeber all the names of my annoying AI counterparts even two years since I last was really playing this game (only cuz my current computer uses vista and vista doesn't like this game). Gotcha, Mulligan, Wild One, Leadfoot, Ace, Ram Rod, and Dead Beat. Wild one sucked on all the tracks except redrock ridge, for some reason he really liked that one. Too bad EA sports continues to show us how retarded it is by once again failing to appease its biggest fans.

Fuck yes, ALMOST the best racing game ever.

Beaten by High Stakes, not just because it on its own is great, it also contains almost all cars and all the tracks from Hot Pursuit!

I hope EA gets their shit together and makes a remake or at least tracks that homage the old days of NFS before it was shit on by this whole *chuckle* street racing.

I was actually able to play this game the other day. I found the old computer in my basement where the original installation was. I took the HD and put it in the current PC and was able to run it off of that (I can't install it on the current HD because of some stupid Windows error). It's greatly reminiscent but we can't forget how horrible the graphics were in 1998. Unfortunately, I can't load tracks because of an 'illegal chunk size error", whatever that means.

DAMN! Everyone keeps saying it's a good game! I have it, but it won't work on my new computer. This computer is completely new and the game won't work on it. Whenever I try to open up the game the screen just turns to black until I finally press CTRL-ALT-DELETE and end the program. Sucks! I wanted to play it so badly!
