What made the ending to this episode so particularly funny and clever was that it was a play on two great sci-fi movies--the original Alien (Ripley opens the airlock of the ship in order for the alien to be sucked out into space) and 2001: A Space Odyssey, showing the ship (here the fridge) rotating in space along to classical music. :)

Hell there's an urban legend that Yankovic wrote the song whilst watching Toys in the Attic...whether that's true or not, the song suits the episode completely right down to the comedic nature of the episode, including the fact that the episode is a parody itself. Also this is one of the oldest AMV's on the internet, I saw it in... '97 I think?Give or take 2 years.

@Rangerhalt1 Most of the more prominent AMV creators had signature icons or avatars to signify who made what AMV, so they stuck it in the beginning of an AMV or at the end. If you watch any of the AMV hell videos, you'll see their avatars in the corner if they had one.

The first time I saw this episode, I had this Asian ice-pop thing in the fridge that had been there awhile because it was grape and I'm not a big fan of grape. (Too much Dimetapp forced down my throat as a kid.)

After watching this episode, I went straight to the freezer and ate that sucker. I just knew if I didn't that thing was gonna mutate come after me!

@TARDIShobbit Truthfully mold can grow in a freezer that super cold and dry,I literally had not checked and forgot about for a little over 9 years [I'm 17] till I got to cleaning out the freezer[I'm way lazy and way busy]the damned bag full of grape Popsicle's had became full of mold and ice crystals. Only reason I could tell was when I dropped it in a trash bag it opened up with a cloud of mold.More in coming reply

@TARDIShobbit I was wearing a mask thankfully seeing as I was after that going to Make lye soap, Yay lye soap you kinda want a mask on when making it. But damn that mold didn't stink it smelt like grapes. You might ask why there was a bag of grape Popsicle's in a freezer if I hate grape flavored Popsicle . Simply when I was sick I got burnt on them. I mean you have enough of one thing and you start to hate it or strongly dislike it. I do like anything else thats grape tho
