  • Great work...are/were you a public or private school student?

  • I went to Hope in 97 &98....Looking back at it..... Hope was not a good school at all. There were some good teachers but the system does not support Education at all.

  • I go to the Lincoln School in Providence and I have a lot of friends at Moses Brown. I guess I just never really thought about Hope High... It's easy to get carried away in a world of polo shirts and thesis statements, but this video made me remember that there's a whole other part of my community that I am failing to see. It's important for people to remember that there doesn't need to be a huge separation between public and private school kids. We don't have to be so different from each other.

  • fa real we do already got bars on our windows and shit.

Hope aint like wat is used to be it got better but its stil dirty as fuck, n im bout to turn it out my senior year niggas better beware

  • I was fortunate at the time for my son to go private until starting college this year. He (and his peers) scored highly on the SAT's and DOD tests. 91% were going to attend college with over 1/2 the class having academic scholarships. 1/2 of that were full scholarships). They continue to be far above their peers in college. Sometimes it was REALLY hard, but what a gift to have a good fit school and child. My neice is experiencing exactly the same thing. I don't think it's a fluke. :-)

  • Great vid! I totally agree with the guy at 2:47. I think there is some kind of difference between private and public school but I think that people go to private shool more for the education. In the end, I think some public schools are as good and sometimes more open than the private ones.

Uh... If he was talking about Hope High School, we already have bars on our window. o.o

And it is true, kids are too into fashion and whats in or not to even care what's around them or their little brains. If they actually focus on what's ahead of them, they would have done a lot better then they're doing now.

Even though this years 11th grader turns things around a lot with the NECAP testing scores.

    Anyways, great video. ^^
