I always thought making dolls more life-like made them less attractive and more creepy. The dolls that are more obvious suggestions of babies and not real babies are cool in my opinion. Old Godzilla movies are scarier even though the Godzilla's there are so obviously a man in a suit. The new movie monsters rely less on the views imagination for their power and so, become sterile.
