the statue of king is WHITE??!! yeah, i would like to correct this problem. first i would take a massive shit all over it and smear it all around the statue, then it would be his color. plus it would smell like a black man too so it would take care of that as well. they should build a portopotty over the statue so all white folk visiting the black ghetto of Washington d.c can pay the rightful respects to that garbage statue of a black fraud. waste of space...
I can't believe the King Family. They actually charged the park service $900k to use MLK's quotes on the memorial. What hypocrites. I guess they now qualify as the greedy rich and will get a tax hike too. Right?
I'm an African American male and a huge believer of Dr. MLK's philosophies, but I think he is probably looking down at this very moment unimpressed. At $120m you could have given 500 black kids full 4 year scholarships or even built 10 community centers in the countries highest crime areas. With all the schools, libraries, streets, postages and even a holiday, King will never be forgotten. Too many black kids are gunned down to spend money on such nonsense. This wont get us to the mountain tops.

Also, just an aesthetics point, Dr. King's lips and nose are to big and prominent. His head is elongated because the hairline was not done properly and from a side view Dr. King has a receding hairline and his fore head protrudes too far. I give the sculpture a "C+." The sculptor did not mess up Mao like this.
