  • is not a phase iv there are only 3 left today! Full stop end of story! Ford only ever made 4 and one died :( so thats not a phase 4 because the peole that own them dont take them to willow bank for funs

  • @maveric6200 @sedoble @barraman69 and anyone else who wants to argue -

There are plenty of motoring writers that will tell you that "One swallow doth not a summer make, nor a compliance plate a Phase IV". The three race cars prepared for Bathurst '72 needed to be prepared by hand at the Special Vehicles division to be race-ready. They would not have been competitive if they had simply gone down the line at Broadmeadows or wherever. Most experts agree that they qualify as Phase IVs regardless.

  • This is the only completed Phase IV "prototype" race car. As created to win at Bathurst by the Ford factory race team in lot 6 Mahoney's rd 1972. It was given that Phase IV designation back when built by those in this Ford race division. I invite you to come and personally see it at the GT Nationals this Easter and by all means bring your new material to talk with me on why this car is not a Phase IV, I will be near the factory Phase 1,2 and 3 race cars. Ask for Dan. :)

  • thats not a phase 4, sorry Mr Bowden. still highly collectable but NOT a phase 4.

  • @sedoble Care to back that up with any reasoning? Or are you just gonna throw a comment out there and run?

  • @NoPlaceForLoafers run? WTF are you on about? This is NOT a phase 4. There was only ever 1 production Phase 4 ever made and sold with a compliance plate that states it's a XA GTHO. This is not that car.

  • thats not a phase 4, sorry Mr Bowden. still highly collectable but NOT a phase 4.

  • Correct. There is one and one only owned by "The Dentist" with ID Tags saying GT HO. If you wanna know more in January, Street Fords magazine is releasing the first article on the Phase 4. It's a 10 page article with information on previous owners and the history of the car etc. It's a good read and it's out around early to mid January

  • Phase 4 replica but still a very nice car. the REAL Phase 4 is owned by a man from NSW who will be unveiling it very soon in Street Fords Magazine. He's currently restoring it to its original former glory as it's had a chequered past.

  • this is not a replica, it is owned by david bowden there is still 3 getting around.

  • sorry replica is the wrong word but it's not marked as a phase 4. There is only 1 phase 4 with GT-HO tags..

  • I thought they made 4 I heard one is a wreck (by a commodore) but only one had # plate GTHO thats just what i heard...

  • @transamma there is only 1 production phase 4. there are/were 3 race cars referred to as phase 4's but they were race cars of witch this is one. they are not nor will they ever be accepted by the public as real phase 4s
