tight between cech and given, i think van der sar is much overated his still a great keeper but wouldnt compare him to cech or given. had cech not had his head injury he would be the best in the world by far but even after his injury his still an insane keeper and given is just so consistent i really feel for him though to have never won anything major because of his loyalty to newcastle. for me cech slightly wins but im probably being biased as a chelsea fan

And Cech is a very good all-round keeper but he hasn't been the same since his head injury, He prob comes third to me simply because he hasn't played like he used to before his injury. If he can get back to that level he will once again be in the Top 5 keepers in the world.

Van Der Sar just edges it over the other two although to be honest it is very hard to if not impossible to separate the 3 of them. Van Der Sar wins it for me because of his ability to command the area and to set out the defence. He is one of those rare keepers who can communicate very well and take command of their area and defence which is part of the reason Untied concede little. Given is prob the best shot stopper due to his very quick reflexes and his excellent positioning.
