those are so easy to spawn u could catch a male and female in a net(gently against the glass) and the m ale will spawn her.. I has them for many many many years started with like 4 and had like 40 after in a 5 gallon tank!
The females have bigger stomachs, aspecially well they are full of eggs! And the males are thinner, and usually have stronger colours on their bodies :)
i love my white clouds, they have so much character. I started off with about 6 and now have 40+!!! Great fish to keep; super easy to breed, great fun to watch, hardy little beggers.
how do i breed these? what do i need? my perch needs a live food source

males aremore slender, and females have bigger bellies :D
they are very easy to breed, and as liitle fry they look like neon tetras :)

females have plumper bellies and their colors are less vibrant than the males.
