Fairy Tail's decent, although i'd imagine if they wanted to make it an anime they'd modify the style a little (kinda what happened to Shaman King) mainly so it wouldn't look like Oda's.

Mishima may be able to get away with such heavy influence in Manga but to make it an anime that looks so much like Oda's style would be dangerous for the investers.

I like this Manga, but the level of influence really borders plagerism. (it had to be said! it's not that it's a bad series or anything!)

Um, no it isn't. Fairy tail is the original work of Hiro Mashima (the creator of RAVE). His drawing style is very similar to Oda-sensei's because he used to be Oda-sensei's student.

But yea, it is awesome and definitely worth reading :D

This manga come from the creator of RAVE... if only u guys know... Basically this author is an acquaintance of Mr. Oda of one piece.. There are 3 authors which have similar art value... Try to find the other guy...his work is good as well.. hehe.. Cheers...4.5/5 for fairy tail.

Well the author happens to work underneath the guy who did One Piece, so his style is very similar. But there's subtle differences, hehe. One Piece and Fairy Tail is my favorite. I like this one because Fairy Tail has a girl as the protagonist. So far I'm still waiting for an update. ^^
