Abraham was illustrating the sacrfice of Jesus the son of God. It's typology. Abraham's son for God's son. Abraham has faith that if God allowed him to do so he would raise him up showing how much faith he had in God.
2) God saw the wife of Adam, Eve was fair, God wanted to take her for himself. So he transformed himself as a serpent to tempt Eve with the forbidden fruit. He wanted to share the fruit with Eve since he likes her but he did not want to share with Adam. so when Adam got the favor from Eve to access the fruit, God got really angry for 1) Adam disobeyed his order, for 2) God got jealous that Eve shared her love evenly with both God and Adam.

This is an awesome video. Even when I was xtian(a long time ago), I always saw the mythical "Eve" as kind of the "savior" of mankind, the one who brought humans out of ignorance and into the light of knowledge. Read the book "Life after life" by R. Moody, it talks about more than 100 cases of people with afterlife experiences. All of them shared things in common, one of them was the fact that none of those experiences had nothing to do with any religion.

Abraham was illustrating the sacrfice of Jesus the son of God. It's typology. Abraham's son for God's son. It's GOD'S fault.
God created Adam and Eve without the knowledge of Right and Wrong. He then punished them for doing something wrong even when they had no concept of it.
It wasn't until "after" the serpent talked Adam and Eve into eating that they learned the difference.
The serpent was just passing on some knowledge that God conveniently forgot to give Adam and Eve.

Actually, Satan as the snake is a Christian invention. The ancient Hebrews who created the Torah envisioned an actual snake talking to Eve. Satan is mentioned only twice in the Torah, both times in Numbers 22 where he appears as an angel of the Lord. Also note Job where Satan appears as an angel, albeit Gods chief prosecutor.

This is an awesome video. Even when I was xtian(a long time ago), I always saw the mythical "Eve" as kind of the "savior" of mankind, the one who brought humans out of ignorance and into the light of knowledge. Now I know better. There was no Adam or Eve, it's just a primitive "explanation" of creation before people had the tools to increase and test their knowledge about "life" and how the evolutionary process keeps changing the world around us. I agree. This god is forcing humans to be blind and robots, satan just did that so humans could be aware and become intelligent. The serpent in Gen. is not a satan, he's just a serpent, and yeah, he was punished for being truthful. Satans are angels appointed to prosecute humans because god feared he would be too lenient (see Job). Jewish monotheism does not allow God to have an opponent, or for his will to be thwarted. The idea of God having a supernatural adversary is a pagan belief accepted by Christians when they made up their religion, and later adopted by Muslims. It probably comes from the Zoroastrian "Ahriman".

The Bible is right, and God loves slavery. The entire Bible is God's word, so these slavery passages must be God's word too. The laws in the United States and other modern nations that make slavery illegal defy God's word. Justice Scalia should be promoting slavery in exactly the same way that he promotes the Ten Commandments.
The Bible condones slavery because the Bible was written by slave-owning men, not by God.

Ever heard of the New Testament?
The OT has a perfect civil law for the Jewish people who knew God and were rescued by him out of Egypt. No where does the Bible say that the Mosaic law should be the law of the United States - you are not God's people, the Jews are.

In the chapter 4 of the exodus it says that it is ok for a master to bash its slaves everytime he doesnt kills them.
There is also a part that says that if a girl gets raped, she must marry her violator (I cant remember the chapter,but I read it a long time ago)
There is nothing to clear up here, its quiet obvious that the bible was written with a political interest in order to manipulate masses.

Exodus 4 does not say this. And no verse requires a woman to marry her rapist.
Under the Mosaic government in the Old Testament fornicators could avoid punishment by subsequent marriage, which has nothing to do with rape.
You admit you don't know the Bible - so why don't you spend 5 min looking up things so you don't make further inaccuracies? Or better yet, why don't you get a King James Bible so you can read the New Testament and see God's full revelation beyond the Mosaic law.

Just a months ago some people from different universities of my country came to the mountains to show a "birth control" plan to poor people (how to use anticonsceptive methods such as condons etc) It all worked perfectly. What happened? a Christian priest came and said it was a sin and messed up everything.

Ive entered that page before. It was horrible, I was just 10 years and it said things about hell and punishment and stuff like that. It had some horrible violent cartoons that showed people going to hell and that page was obviously made by a fanatic.

I DO believe in god but in a different way.
I think it is too heavy,too fast,too complex for the human´s consumption and it cannot be trivialized. However, I dont push this believing into people´s throats.
Read the book "Life after life" by R. Moody, it talks about more than 100 cases of people with afterlife experiences. All of them shared things in common, one of them was the fact that none of those experiences had nothing to do with any religion.

It is good that you believe testimonies. We cannot believe anything about anything unless we are told. But we have to weigh the witnesses testimony.
This experience of after death was always alone. The people never went together into the after-life. The Bible says we must have at least 2 witnesses to the same event before we have confidence. There were over 500 simultaneous eye-witnesses of the risen Jesus Christ. Beware deceptions, even by well-meaning people, unless there is corroboration.

Now the Bible says, "for where no law is, there is no transgression." Romans 4:15. So little babies don't know right and wrong, so how can they be judged? They won't be. But any adult, even in the remote jungle, knows killing, stealing, raping, lying, is wrong.
