Nice film, But it should emphasize that Esperanto is intended as a second language, not as a world replacement for all the others. You keep your mother tongue, but can speak on an equal footing with any other Esperantist from any other country, without having to know his or her native language.
Esperanto is a great first foreign language because it builds confidence and motivation, offers real communication opportunities in dozens of countries and reduces the difficulty and time requirement for learning subsequent languages.
"Talking to the Whole Wide World" is a resource that empowers teachers (or parents) to learn it as they teach it to mastery.
Esperanto estas facile. Esperanto is quite easy to learn, easy enough that even i can commumicate using EO. If you have been wanting to learn a language, this is a great confidence booster and a great place to start.
Good stuff. It's enjoyable and free to learn it, and you can use it to speak, write and think about practically anything you would speak, write and think of in any other language. Kudos.
mi lernas gxin ekde septembro. Gxi estas tre tauxga lingvo por interkomuniki, amikigxi kaj oni nur bezonas 1 jaro por mastreti gxin. Ne kiel iu alia lingvo
I prefer Lojban.

Zamenhof was a moral genius for his modesty and dedication.

Mi ŝategis tiun filmeton. Eble oni povus aldoni esperantan subtekston, por ke esperantistoj kiuj ne scipovas la anglan povu kompreni ĝin. ^^
Mi bone komprenas la anglan sed ne povas esprimi min per ĝi. Se iu volos traduki mian mesaĝon en tiun lingvon, mi dankegos. xD

@Volcano17r 's message translated into English is:
I love this short film. Perhaps someone could add Esperanto subtitles so that Esperantists who don't speak English can understand it.
I understand English well enough, but cannot express myself in it. If someone wants to translate my message (into English), I would be grateful.

I'm expanding on the comments first made by Philip Gibson a few days ago.
Yes Hitler considered Esperanto as a Jewish conspirator's language and severely persecuted its speakers.
Stalin also killed a lot of Esperantists!
So did Tojo...
Even the USA got in on the act considering Esperantists to be part of an international communist conspiracy.
In summary MOST of the major authoritarian world leaders were (and are) against Esperanto.
A VERY good reason to learn it now!!!

Amazing video. Really good way to show esperanto to English speakers. It looks like the documentary "Esperanto estas".
In esperanto there is a slang for that: "mojosa" (similar to "cool")! ;)

It's worth mentioning that the cencors he fought against included The Third Reich.
Esperanto was condemned by Hitler in 'Mein Kampf' as a language that would be used by an International Jewish Conspiracy.
This sadly drew special attention to his Jewish family, leading to all 3 of his children being killed in The Holocaust.

Zamenhof estis saĝulo! Mi ŝatas la Esperanton lingvon. Mi deziras ke pli da homoj lernu ĝin por plibonigi la internacian komunikadon.
