This is horrible! I work at a police department and I do not want you to think all police are the same. I am working to get the deaf community more visible, and my supervisors are helping. Keep teaching more people sign! Helps to make people aware.

i can understand that.. My friend died because the police didnt answer her phone when she needed help to prevent from her bf trying to kill her but he did... the police came late!!! her parents stood up in front of police. now they take asl class to communicate with deaf people better. it is in utah.. very sad.. i am disappointed the police ignored the tty when needed help... tty at police kept ringing forever..
