  • Is 5760x1080 a native resolution to this game or do I need to download some additional software?

  • this is why PC is most better than PS3 or xbox :)

  • Beautiful

  • do u use Utorrnet?

  • Bam...

  • Thats badass

  • This is by far the best assassin's creed 2 eyefinity combo video ever, and add muse into the picture, beautiful

  • what program did u use to record this? fraps?

  • well. To close this issue. I found out that AC2 only uses one core. The turbo function on the i7 is just what you need for it. I can only say you are very lucky having spend your money on that cpu. and to bad for me, I can't afford an i7. I guess I can only hope AC brotherhood will be more optimized. greetz

  • what settings do you use inside Assassins creed? no lag?

  • @discy12345 Everything maxed at 5760x1080, no AA. No lag at all.

  • @HydraliskX That's awesome! I've got a 5750.. but it can't handle maxed-out settings at all. also I have to play @ 4600 x 900 instead of 5760x1080. But hearing this I'm definitely considering to buy a 5870.

  • @HydraliskX do you know about your avarage fps in this game? I'm thinking of buying this graphics card.

  • @discy12345 There's a 60 fps hardcap in game (without vsync) and I get 50-60 most of the time.

  • @HydraliskX how is that possible? i've gotz a 6870 and only getting around 30?

  • @discy12345 Could it be your cpu..? What is it?

  • @discy12345 Make sure to turn AA (anti-aliasing) off and also vsync off. My CPU is a core i7 860 OC'd to 3.4 ghz

  • @HydraliskX Those things did not help for me :(. But I found a lot of information on the internet about people with Q6600 and other pre-generation processors that have exactly the same problem as me. Some dude actually talks about that with his Q9500 + 5970 he ran assassins creed at 30 fps. With a 5970 that's just out of the book! Since he bought a new processor it's at 70-110. (i guess no eyefinity). So I figger that should be my problem.. I just hope so because it will cost me quite some money

  • Aww, I must have this game to PC as well, to try out my new SLI GTX 470 :D I just need to buy the final screen.. They cost $400 each, so that's somewhat bothersome :/

  • nicely done video man......great work

  • great montage!!

I like it when you switch from 1 screen to 3 to show the difference

  • oh could you make the screen wider ? its such a nice video!

  • @HydraliskX how much you paid for everything? This gaming set is pure win!

  • @kietakas The computer was $1200 back in september. The monitors were $600 total for all 3.

  • @HydraliskX wow nice

  • That pc is pure win. I could have the same but i prefer laptop moar. And nice fps o.O

  • hey whats the fps ? I too have a hd5870 and 10.3preview drivers and performance is terrible when im in rooftops it goes from 28-35-40 ,yours ?

  • @lorikano What's the rest of your rig like? The FPS never went below 40 while I played. Make sure you turn off AA. Sampling at nearly 6 megapixels is incredibly taxing.

  • @HydraliskX abit ip-35pro ,2gb ram q6600 @3.0ghz hd5870 ,drivers-10.3preview and yes AA is on medium post processing is off other are all high @1080p ,what driver version are you using ? Thnx

  • @lorikano I'm using 10.3a preview drivers. Just turn off AA completely and it'll boost framerates considerably. 6 megapixels is a lot of samples to take for anti-aliasing. The only other thing would be RAM, 4 GB would be ideal although I don't know if that matters for AC2 specifically.

  • @HydraliskX when u say megapixels what are u referring to AA?

  • @kdawgmaster When I say megapixels I mean the game is being rendered at 5760x1080 pixels which is nearly 6 megapixels. Anti aliasing samples the entire screen... so the videocard has to sample nearly 6 million pixels to apply anti-aliasing which is very taxing.

  • @HydraliskX kk ty for clearing it up :D

  • Amazing.

  • THIS SHIT ROCKS DUDE!
