The Muscle is only better when you want to break the opponent car instead of winning the race normally. More over, muscle are awesome in races with straight path but they are suck in races with many turning points because the high floor make them fairly easy to get upturned in high speed at corners that smaller than 90 degree.

Sometimes. The difference is only 13 HP, the Nissan has better handling on it and this is a drift race. Muscle cars aren't normally used for drifting. So it all comes down to the skill of the driver.
