I've had a very serious case of POTS for the last six years and I think I finally figured out the cause in my case. It was processed sugar. I quit ALL processed sugar and now I have a perfect 56 heart beat and I feel great. Believe me I tried everything without success until I finally removed all processed sugar and for the last seven days I've held out at 56 HBs per minute. Hopefully this will last. I'm confident this time that it will. Good luck to you.
I have read about POTS so much and my doctors have explained it to me too, but somehow parts never sunk in.
In fact, I thought that si nce I can stand much longer now, with meds, and have less dizziness problems while shopping that the medications worked well. However, I have some other major problems, and just found that it is still the POTS rather than something else. So it is definitely not under control. :( It is a day at a time. My meds are at the highest does already too. :/
I have POTS too, and I have had one pupil dilate this way. I was diagnosed over a year ago after a good five years of problems. Until now I didn't realise that the pupil thing was related really.
Thank you for your comment. POTS is a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system ..That controls involuntary functions (Everything we do naturally) Like breathing, Heart rate. pupil dilation, digestion etc.
Do you have your symptoms under control? Or are you still taking it a day at a time like me? Gods Blessings!
If you have this and do not know the cause... you need to see a doctor right away! You need to have a head scan to find out if it is anything serious and life threatening....For me it is a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome....P.O.T.S
PLEASE see a doctor and get the necessary tests done. Best wishes
You also have beautiful hazel -green eyes
