I recently purchased a very large time recording clock mechanism made in Endicott NY. It has electrical wires extending from it, has no regular springs or weights like a normal clock. The brass pendulum is huge, and weighs 6 lbs. The clock is powered by a small spring that is wound by an electrical solenoid, and the clock works. As small as the spring is it must need winding often. It would use a large face 12" or bigger. Very odd and different and I can't imagine what it was used for.
