I've been playing drums for about 6 years now, and i'm looking at investing in recording gear. can you give me any pointers? As you seem to get a very controlled and clean sound.

Ideally i want to record without using a mixer and use a PC to edit the sound.

hence avoiding buying a mixing desk when a PC can do the same thing. Is it possible to achieve this? what do i need? Mics & preamp?

@Redkillahh I figured out how to do it when I got a new set of hats. Hopefully this can help, but I'm not that good at explaining. When you hit the hi hat with the tip of your stick, let it bounce. Just get the feel of it. Next thing you can try is when you hit it again, kind of push the drum stick down on the hats. You hit, push it down, and so it bounces quite a few times before coming to a stop under the pressure you are exerting. If this doesn't work for you, let me know and I can film it

While he plays all cameras are recording at the same time. So the only thing he does after he did his job, he have to cut in his recorded material how he like to want it into one Video.
