Fuller's film is so far ahead of its time........ That's what members of NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) would call a "chicken ranch". Sandusky founded Second Mile in 1977 as a "foster home dedicated to helping troubled boys with absent or dysfunctional families." Its almost like Sandusky he watched the movie to get the idea.

I just bought The Sam Fuller Filmmakers Collection on UMBRELLA for $15. It has Forty Guns with Barbara Stanwyck, Pickup on South Street, The Naked Kiss and Shock Corridor... It is really enjoyable....pulp yes... cult director yes..

This movie was so far ahead of its time. I have to admit, I cried a little when the little physically challeged kids were singing "The Blue Bird."

this one's actually really fucking good.......nicholas cage made a remake called sonny starring james franco.....i call it a remake because i dont have the balls to call it a ripoff.....SAM FULLER WAS A GENIUS.....hollywood raped that man

My favorite Fuller. And Constance Towers gives one of my favorite female performances of all time--it's just such a fiery, strong performance worthy of Barbara Stanwyck or Bette Davis.

She's still acting today, most recently in a recurring role on the daytime soap "General Hospital" and in an episode of "The 4400."

I've seen this movie once - on TCM. I'm still not sure what "Naked Kiss" refers to. Apparently, one of the characters could tell that a guy was a pedophile just by the way he kissed her - WTF?

"WTF" could be applied to all of Sam Fuller's cinema.

And yes, a "naked kiss" is what Towers called a kiss that was empty of passion or emotion, suggesting that the man isn't what he appears to be.
