i have one, but its with protoss, and its a lot harder, cause probes have less health! and its actually a bit harder with protoss, cause you cant build anywhere, you have to build around the pylons! and you have to make buildings so that goons wont get stuck, i got 428 apm and i still lost -_-

Nice. I'm also using this ums map to train multitasking and noticed afew things you do different.

one is that you built quite the force to storm the zerg with, its not actually required if done much earlier, but yeah i gather you're doing this as more -complete- training

the other thing is you dont -seem- to use map hotkeys (shift + Fkeys, F2 upwards) i like to shift the SCV scout spawn point to F3 and the bunker/zerg choke to F4. can be helpful.

they need to fix this map... I'm sure it's been done before, but I was able to kill the zeal while it was attacking a supply depo. I'm not saying it's a bad map, but if I can cheat, it takes the fun out of the map for me.

Great map, thanks to it I realised my "true" apm. Usually I can spam it up to 350-400 to show off BUT it turns out my effective apm (without flashy useless clicks) is about 200-240. Got any map like this for Protoss btw?

I bet you only do the "spam" to copy the pros. I bet you wouldnt do that if it werent cus you saw them doing it. It might be good to keep yourself warm but I think on a non korean level its better to be calm and assortive for what is to come and take it "slow"

build one worker.

send four workers to mineral patch

select two workers and send them to different patch

select one worker from the group that is closer to the minerals and have it mine elsewhere

select another worker from the other group and send that to a mineral patch.

This way reduces your clicks by one on the other I think, and you do mistakes much less.

right click save as.... put it in your starcraft/maps folder

game type: use map settings

don't just open it, just save it to your HD

PS you will need Broodwar to play it!

This comment's too late but... my Starcraft also has that funny rainbow color "crash" whenever I load it up. I always have to do alt+tab several times until the colors are set right. :\

what are you using to record? maybe try growler guncam instead.

1. the color problem appears when you record before the actuall game started. like in map desc (ums) or in main menu or lobby. if you start recording INGAME you will not have this problem ;)

2. to not lag when you recording try techsmith codec with right settings then reencode it for lower filesize. that should fix.

thx for reminding me, I just couldnt understand why this was happning because I had no problems on the other older PC that I have. start rec in game without alt tabbing ^^ thx again! Ive got the lag under control so now I'll give it a new shot and make some new better vods that I had planed^^

yes you can, but that not the Idea of training your hot-keys and multitasking abilities IS IT NOW!

That's the problem with 70% of Players, they try to beat the map instead of training their skills. A newer version is about to completed and there is no chance to shortcut - cheat - beat the map bugs anymore!

u know you don't always have to go to your scv's screen to micro, you can just move it using mini map it'll save you some time since you know only a slow zealot is chasing you. nonetheless, good practice i guess.

I know, but if you read the description you'll understand :-) I had extream CPU lag my mouse movents felt like they were in a bowl of jelly. no double clicks BW run on my desktop in a very smal window, with other words hiting units was realy hard, and using the minimap was virtually impossible. It took me half of the match to get used to this other than normal BW setup!
